Good morning MMC! Happy Hump/Pines Day!!! WOW did it rain last night. I'm not sure I have ever heard it rain like that before. Creeks are nearly out of their banks. I'm surprised there aren't more puddles around. Now we have a warm & sunshiny morning. Temps are supposed to start dropping around noon!!

Now, as to the single digits comment, let it be known to one and all that as of this day we are down to SINGLE DIGITS to Milestone number two on our Countdown chart, the ONE QUARTER Season marker.

Cooler yesterday but dry. We will get the opposite today - warm but rainy.
In fact, thunderstorms are a possibility as the system that was to our southwest moves on toward us.
Right now, it is 55 degrees here with a heavy cloud cover.


OK. It's mid-week and you all know what that means.
Yes Folks, Carl is ready.

Now, he made a comment earlier that has me confused and a little worried. He said the specialty in the dining room this evening will be ground hog. Or did he say groundhog??
Barbeque pork, or.......
(I don't want to think about it, especially since yesterday was Groundhog Day.)
Regardless, I'll show up this evening as usual.....but I just might skip dinner.

Thank you, Holiday. How about a Gracie pic?

It just so happens I took her picture last night. Last year my sister won a fleece blanket at my nieces bridal shower. She asked me to crochet a border around it. This was in March of last year, & it is a Valentines blanket. I just realized Valentines is 11 days away & I still haven't put that border on for her!! I decided to buy another blanket & crochet 2 of them together. I picked up the 2nd blanket last night, I laid them both out on the floor so I could line them up to crochet around them & ...

When I tried to shoe her off, she thought we were playing & started biting at the blanket! So I gave up until she moved on. LOL If my sis doesn't like it, Gracie does!!

Good evening,

JP regressed a little today, so he will be home again tomorrow, at least it is my scheduled day off so I won't have to call out. I think all four of us have a touch of something, we seem to all have some symptoms of one thing or another.
Watched the Bruins lose in OT tonight, but we did watch Jack Frost the Rankin/Bass special with Pardon-Me Pete the groundhog. It has a touch of Christmas in it but it feels more like a winter/Groundhog Day movie.
I am heading to bed, need a good night of sleep.

Happy Pine's Day!

Hope everyone made it home safely last night through the harsh weather. Snowflake, I've been thinking of you.

My eldest made it into school today. My youngest had a night of unbroken sleep. The coughing and congestion has improved greatly! Thank goodness, he has been struggling for weeks!

Well as both kids will be in school/nursery I am hoping I can get some work done and resume routine.

Good morning!

Was rudely awakened by the alarm this morning, but am now ready to tackle the day. It only took a few hours to get over wanting to go back to bed. Thank God for coffee!

It is a muddy wonderland outside in the driveway and along the paths. Where the grass is showing is green ~ very disorienting! The birds are loving this weather. When I went out to feed them yesterday they were chattering away ~ sounded happy to me!

My day is shaping up to be busy again. The computer needs to be updated. Once that is done, back to reports. Need to get started so I can finish that project today.

It rained here all night and so most all the snow is now gone. Going up to 12c (54f) today ! It is February isn't it ?

We're expecting rain this afternoon with temperatures in the 50's. I'm sure any snow that we have left out there will be gone after today. Not too much going on here, typical day of errands and chores. I'll probably run my errands this morning before the rain gets here. I need to pick up some fresh Italian bread while I'm out. I'm making gnocchi with a bolognese sauce for dinner and mozzarella garlic bread. That's about it for me.

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! It's a mild and rainy day here. I'll take it over the cold and snow though. I heard we may get some snow next week so we will see. For now I'm at work and just thinking about getting some pizza for lunch. Usually I buy lunch once a week at work. I look forward to it. Starting to get excited for my little Superbowl party on Sunday. I'm thinking the Panthers are going to take it but I'd like to see a competitive game. Ahh well we're almost halfway through the week. Not so bad!

Who would think we would have green grass & mud this time of year??!! I was listening to the birds this morning too! I told Gracie her bird friends were waiting for her to come out & play!
