[Holiday]

Well I got my 2 slices of cheese pizza. Delicious. Lately I always get some topping etc...but it's nice to go back once in a while and have simple cheese pizza. Raining out here...gloomy...mild. Does not feel or look like February. Ready to go home soon...feel like I have a million things to do at work and every time I start 1 thing I get 5 more thrown at me. Sometimes I just wonder how I ever get anything done lol.

Pizza sounds good. I'm going to try Salisbury Steak for supper tonight. I have never made it before. I was never a big fan, but this is a Pioneer Woman recipe & it looks yummy!! Hopefully it is. My friend made it last night - she said she needed 1 word to describe it & that's "YUM" Lol!

Good day all! I cannot remember the last time I posted here in the Countdown.

The last couple of months have been ups and downs. The biggest downer was losing my boss in a tragic accident right before Christmas. It has been a tough loss, not only a boss but as you all know, he was a very good friend to us. It has been a very tough loss but Christmas was good therapy to get through it the best we could. Miss him badly but will always cherish the good memories of him! He was the happiest person I ever met and I know he would all want us to continue on with happy thoughts!

A few of you already heard about this sad news, thanks for your continued prayers and staying in touch with me even if I don't make it on here!

Here it is February and already looking forward to the "Bers"!

I hope to catch up with everyone on here! I sure do you miss you all!!!!

Thanks! My boss was the best! Worked with him for 13 years and don't recall EVER seeing him mad. He got along great with everyone and was a great leader and knew how to put a smile on your face. He always made us laugh.

The cabbage roll casserole was alright. To be honest, I don't think I would make it again. I prefer the old fashioned stuffed cabbage rolls that my grandmother used to make. I have to dig the recipe out, I can't remember the last time I made them!

It just so happens I took her picture last night. Last year my sister won a fleece blanket at my nieces bridal shower. She asked me to crochet a border around it. This was in March of last year, & it is a Valentines blanket. I just realized Valentines is 11 days away & I still haven't put that border on for her!! I decided to buy another blanket & crochet 2 of them together. I picked up the 2nd blanket last night, I laid them both out on the floor so I could line them up to crochet around them & ...

When I tried to shoe her off, she thought we were playing & started biting at the blanket! So I gave up until she moved on. LOL If my sis doesn't like it, Gracie does!!

Lost and Found Kitty Update!

Just wanted to update you guys about the cat who went missing and was reunited with his family after 4 years. Happy to say he was able to go home with his family. He is on a course of antibiotics and has still a lot of recovery to go but it's a good sign. He is sleeping a lot and being looked after.

Makes my heart swell with joy ....
