Sorry I can't keep up with posts today.

Hope everyone is making it through their Monday.

Snowflake how are you ? How is Har doing. Has she managed any meds today?

Hey Sam~
No meds. She had a pretty rough day, had to take her to the vet. She was dehydrated from getting sick so much, so they injected her with fluids, anti-nausea meds, and gave her a dose of the antibiotic.
She did pretty well with the exam, considering.
She's no longer shaking, but I still can't get her to eat or walk. She just wants to lay around, which is not like her at all. Makes me sad.

Oh my goodness Snowflake, I'm so sorry. This makes me so sad. I'll be praying for the both of you. I hope the appointment goes well, please keep us posted.

It went as well as it could, so I'm glad about that. Just the reality of talking to another vet and getting confirmation that she is in congestive heart failure is so hard to take. She's so young, and I was told she could have a few years ahead of her if her body accepts the meds. I'm hopeful they will for my sweet girl. If we can get her to take them. But for now, she said not to try.
She was to confer with my regular vet to see how we should proceed, so I wait to hear from them tomorrow.

Oh Stacey, Sorry I am only now seeing this. Thank goodness they are seeing her today. Praying that they can help her somehow. I'm so sorry things are so difficult at the moment. Stay positive and keep courage. I'm thinking of you and Har and will be waiting for news.

Do you ever have that time in your life where you feel someone or something is testing your faith, strength and will to keep carrying on....

I feel that way right now.... If you can imagine what it looks like to see a 52 year old man cry, I can send you a picture....

My son who is in the Maryland air national guard, just came home and told me that his unit is being placed on active duty and will be shipped out to the Middle East this October....his name was on the list to go....

I am ex military. I know how it is and the possibility to be sent into harms way. But he is my son, and I love him so much.....

I cannot get a break...

Prayers for you and for your son's safe deployment and safe return, xmastidings. Hang in there buddy, it won't be like this forever.

We saw a horse race on TV last week in which one of the horses was named Jacob Marley! He came in next to last.

I like your thinking. Always aim high. Doctors are not always right...and Har could defy the odds.

So this was taken yesterday as part of our save the date pics. That took up much of my day until the Superb Owl. Then today I took our tree to the brush site for recycling and then spent a good 5hrs at the church (I took today off from the university as I always do after the Superb Owl) working on worship technology and sound items. Now I'm at the radio station running the Intra-City clash Hockey edition (we have 2 public high schools in town). Been a busy but overall good day for me. @snowflake22 praying hard for you and Har hoping something will bring her around so you can enjoy her company for longer than they're predicting. Also praying for everyone to be in good health and for your days to go as planned or better.
