Right now, we see 38 degrees here on our back door thermometer under a rather cloudy sky, and by Saturday night, we are supposed to get down to 14.
(Now that's a big BRRRRR around these parts!)

There's not much to report, unfortunately.
Har still seems out of it. She is not throwing up, thank God. But just drinks water & rests. Has no energy. I wish she would eat, and come for a walk.
Thanks again for all the prayers.
I am nauseous, and my head feels huge. Congested, and achy.
Not sure what the plan for the day is yet. Will give it some time, I don't think I'll be able to function much.

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! A dusting of snow again fell last night and maybe another inch or 2 this afternoon into this evening. Bitter cold coming this weekend. Well it will be the weekend at least and will just give me more reason to stay home and rest. Funny the biggest snowstorm we had this winter fell on the weekend and now the biggest/worst cold weather we'll probably have this entire winter is falling on the weekend. Timing is everything in life sometimes. Other than that just gonna go to work, try to stay positive and have a solid day hopefully. Superbowl leftovers were delicious Monday evening.

good morning all my Christmas loving friends !
I had the 12 days of Christmas stuck in my head all day yesterday, drove my co workers nuts LOL!
It has turned winter here again, we are now in a magical winter wonderland. It looks beautiful out there. When it gets light I will take some pictures.

HA! Love it! Looking forward to pics...I still see grass here. There was a dusting on the road/sidewalks, but nothing like they were predicting! Enjoy the beauty!!

Good morning MMC...hope you are all having a good morning. The kids have a 2hr delay so they are still sleeping. They are saying more snow tomorrow and Wednesday...possibly an additional 6 inches..who knows but the bitter cold is coming. I can't stand those temps so hopefully they won't stick around too long. Woke up to a few inches of new snow this morning. Looks like we get storms the rest of the week. Artic temps return again of course,at least its not like last winter.

@Snowflake, I'm sorry to hear that Harlowe hasn't improved much this morning. I'm still praying for y'all, and I'm sure that love and attention from her mommy is making her feel better. How did you come up with the name Harlowe, anyway?

I have Geico but I'm thinking about shopping around next time. All those insurance companies give you a "low rate" to start and ease it up every time you renew your policy even if you don't have an accident! On the bright side gas is $1.93 here. That's the lowest it's been in about a decade.

snowflake22 hoping for the antibiotics to kick in and for little Harlowe to get her energy back. At least she is drinking, hydration is really important. Take care of yourself as well.

I am so scared and don't know what to do.
If I push her, she gets upset and her heart races. She hasn't eaten in over a day. Doesn't want to walk. She needs to walk, even if it's for a short while. She is drinking, at least. Thanks so much for the positivity, love, strength, and prayers

Hope you can get some rest today! At least Har is drinking hopefully you can get her to eat something...hang in there! I wish they could make the meds liquid to get them into her. Oh and don't always listen to the Dr's, with our boxer, Max he had mast cell cancer in his leg so we had the tumor removed and then they wanted to amputate his leg but we thought that would be too traumatic for him so we opted to just see how he does. They said he maybe had a year, well he lived 3 years with a great quality of life so they are not always right.

That's true SnowflakeMom, the doctors are NOT always right. I learned that the hard way. I will definitely be going for second opinions in the future. And most importantly, going with my gut instinct.
