Good morning MMC! Happy Hump/Pines Day! What a morning! Got a call at 6:45 - Mom thinks she has pneumonia! :( She didn't sleep well last night due to the coughing + she took Nyquil, so that made her "dopey" (her words! :p) My sis checked in on her at 7. I stopped on my way to work & she wanted me to get her some cough drops. I stopped at work to see if they needed anything here - got her cough drops & made her a hot toddy (minus the whiskey :rolleyes:) She thought that helped to calm her cough a little. My brother stopped to check on her while I was there. I came back to work & my other sister was on her way there - she is taking her to the doc at 10:45. I finally got to work a little after 9....and it already seems like I've been here a full day! What the heck?! Hopefully some good drugs will help her out & she won't need to be admitted to the hospital. xx
That's been about all that's going on here today! LOL Have a wonderful day MMC!!! (It's cold outside!)

Hope you are having a good day so far. Just having a coffee before I start dinner. I can't stop yawning. Isaac was up again almost all night with such a bad cough.

We are heading for severe cold, arctic winds and freezing fog with subzero temps. Thankfully the kids are on mid term break next week so we can stay in.

Sorry to hear that Isaac was up most of the night. Hope he gets relief from that cough soon.
Stay safe and warm in the severe winter weather. Glad you don't have to venture out much next week.

My SIL is not well. Hospice is taking her home today & getting her set up at home. Not sure how this is going to work out, but hopefully it does. She's a sick girl! My sis cancelled an all day meeting so she could be there when Hospice brings her home. This is the same sis who is taking mom to the doc this morning. Busy woman!

I hope Isaac gets well soon, the poor thing. Those coughs can linger for such a long time, I'll keep him in my prayers. So glad they have off from school next week. I hope you have a nice night Sam (((hugs)))

Thank you. I will be spending the afternoon at the hospital. Sis wants to leave by 2, so I will go there to relieve her so she can head South. What a day!

Thanks. It's been really cold this week not as bad as what we are heading into !
I honestly don't feel like cooking tonight LOL! But it's chicken and noodles. What you having?

Bless her for all that she has to do these days. She is a superwoman. I am guessing that runs in the family! ;)

Oh no Holiday, I am sorry she has to be but it in a way it is the best place for her with her pneumonia. Prayers for her health and well being.

All this food talk is making me hungry....and this is the 1st day of lent...no meat today. Bummer!!!

Yes, sis is superwoman. Just so she doesn't run herself down! She runs to her daughters (2 hrs away) often too & spends the night to help out with her 3 boys. Good thing she is "only" working 2 days a week.

I agree - she needs to be there & hopefully they can nip it in the bud quickly!! xx Better days ahead for all!!! Thanks festive!
