Good Morning, Second Quarter Voyagers.

Ah, yes!
In case you have been away, we are now in the SECOND quarter of our game here and headed for Milestone Marker number three.

Days to the Season: 272
Days to Christmas Day: 314

Marker 3 is, of course, the 300 day Christmas Day point after which we will be in a double 200's level count sequence.
And we will reach that Milestone just TWO WEEKS from today!


After yet another very cold day yesterday, we are due for a respite.
That may come today or tomorrow, but will be accompanied by precipitation, some of which has already started to fall as light sleet.
We are at another chilly 26 degrees here, currently.

You're welcome Sam. And thank you. I just hung up with the animal hospital, they said the records can be picked up this morning. My husband is on a job in the city so it looks like I have to go get them. My heart is already racing, I hate to go back there.
The Italian wedding soup is delicious, it has little meatballs and spinach in it. So good!
I'm glad you're feeling better. I will continue to keep you and Isaac in my prayers ♥

I just saw a fat grey squirrel on a branch outside the window eating an apple !! It looked like something out of a story book. Of course as soon as I reached for the camera he skipped off.

He's become a regular in the garden but I haven't seen him since Autumn.

So cute! I feed the birds and squirrels in my yard every day. My cats love to watch them through window!

Merry Monday!

I have been up half the night worrying about Adi getting home safely.
He thought he may miss his second flight, then it was delayed, and then he had an hour & a half commute home in the middle of the night. As I was laying down to sleep, a weather alert came on my phone warning for icy roads. Ugh. So relieved he's here.

Now I want to just crawl back in bed & sleep!

Harlowe seemed to have a rough day yesterday, this infection is a bear. Bless her heart. She eventually ate, and still drank, just not as much as the few days prior. Her stomach was too upset. I really wish I could take the pain for her. Please keep her in your prayers.

I'm still praying for y'all, friend. I know this last week has been rough! Glad Adi is home and I hope Har eats more today. I hope the work day goes quickly for you. Extra prayers today.

I am not bragging, because I'd love some cold weather! Truth is, I'm jealous of some of you who are experiencing snow and frigid temps. But, this week we have some more 70s coming and on Thursday, its even supposed to be 80! For some reason, Oklahoma just isn't getting a winter this year. It works like that: some years are very cold, and others are sunny and mild. Oh well, nothing I can do so might as well take the kids outside.
