Good morning everyone, Happy Thursday ~
Wish I could stay in today, I'm really not feeling well. I have to get moving soon and pull myself together, Maggie has a veterinarian appointment. I was thinking about rescheduling for next week but thankfully my husband said he can come with me. I don't have the strength to go alone. Not too much else planned. I'll be lucky if I end up doing a couple of loads of laundry done and getting dinner on the table.

Merry Thursday MMC! The storm we had last night was crazy! I could barely sleep with that wind...all I kept thinking is that a tree was going to fall on the house. I definitely will be having an extra cup of coffee today. Just think 10 months from today will be Christmas Day!! Enjoy the day!

Afternoon all!
Hope you are having a great day so far. The appointment with the realtor went very well and we are quite pleased with what they had to say. The prospects look good.
Another appointment tomorrow with another agency so will be curious to see what they say.

Got a call from the school during the appointment that my eldest fell in the playground and bumped his head. They said he is okay and been seen by a first aider. I will be picking him up soon. I've not seen the bump yet so I hope it's not too bad.

Hope you are having a good Thursday. I will try and catch up with you guys later.

I hope that Jacob is okay, keeping him in my thoughts and prayers.

Good Morning, Folks.

Down to barely over HALF A WEEK until our next Milestone Marker.

Days to the Season: 262
Days to Christmas Day: 304

And indeed. As of February 29th -- Leap Day -- we will open that 300-day Christmas Day Window and step through it into double-200's territory.
(We seem to be moving right along, don't we?)


Looking forward to a calmer, drier day today after yesterday's stressful vigil, as the weather service issued one tornado warning after another for our area of NC.
Homes were destroyed to the north and northwest of us with more tornadoes to the south. Fortunately, nothing like that happened near us. Just a few branches and pine cones for me to pick up in the yard today.
This morning has commenced peacefully, at 44 sunny degrees here in the capital city.

Taking mom for her regular appointment with eye specialist this afternoon. Of course we have to stop at all the thrift stores too.
Rain had turned to snow but not nearly as bad as predicted.

Good morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve!!! TGIFE! We got some snow last night - it's all white when I look outside, but blades of grass are still poking through. Still snowing though! xx Windy too! The roads had enough heat in them, the snow is all melting on the roads. I hope it snows all day! xx
Mom is home & had a good night. Took her 1st real shower in 2 weeks this morning. Can't imagine how awesome that had to feel. I'm feeling jealous of my sister who is there with her today, baking cookies, watching it snow! Wish it were me! Ah well... Thanks for all the thoughts & prayers for her! Home Health is coming this afternoon. Hope that goes well! xx

Good Morning MMC! Happy 10 Months until Christmas! We had a rough night last night-tornado warnings for a large part of the evening. We're safe and sound, but a community where I used to teach lost homes and had many injured, and a few people died elsewhere in the state. Pray for those communities or send them good thoughts if you get the chance! I hope everyone has a great day today!

Prayers for all those affected. So sad! So much bad weather this week! I'm glad you stayed safe. Have a great day DYHWIH!

Good Thursday Morning MMC! Happy Rudolph Day #2! Seems like it was just yesterday we said it was the 1st Rudolph Day. 10 months till Christmas woohoo. Happy Friday Eve also. How's everyone? We had a stormy night here with wind and rain. I'm reading the long range forecasts saying we may have chilly weather in early March but that may be winters last gasp. Looks like winter may leave us early this year. I'm all for that! Anyway, off to work I go for another hectic day. Hope you all are well and everyone who isn't doing great hang in there. Hope you're feeling better HMG, and your daughter, and Harlowe and xmastidings and even those we haven't heard from in recent days or weeks like Brent. I like his energy and passion for Christmas.
