feeling a bit better today...sign the new lease and get the keys today. It is late because the place was so trashed and filthy it took the longer than expected to get it cleaned up and liveable again. I love that I have all new flooring, freesh paint and new appliances ! Main move in is on Saturday.

Good Thursday Morning MMC! It looks nice outside. But boy it feels like winter still. Next week though we're supposed to get a real spring warmup with 50s and even 60s! That is gonna feel amazing. But for today we're cold and sunny. Maybe a little snow on Friday and Sunday but nothing big. Maybe winter's last gasp (I hope) lol. 1 more day and we'll be back to TGIF again. Unreal huh? Anyone starting to make any fun weekend plans yet? I'm gonna to the mall on Saturday and probably have pizza for lunch with my brother and mom. Should be fun. The mall ALWAYS makes me think of the holidays no matter what time of year it is.

The mystery plow-er showed up ~ yay! There was 12 inches plus of snow on the ground and even though it was light it was hard to walk through. Had to go out to the apple tree to feed the birds ~ they were waiting for me. It took a few minutes longer to get out there and boy did those birds have something to say to me! They were very happy once the sunflower seeds were put out, though.
Willa took over Shaggy's house and it is right by the apple tree. She was snowed in so I swept a path so she could come up to the porch to eat and drink. Ended up carrying her up to the porch ~ she was underfoot otherwise. The other cats stay in a different dog house and they had already made their own path, but I swept it out wider for them.
All that sweeping was good exercise ~ slept fairly good for a change!

We have been "invaded" by american soldiers this last month
(soldiers from all over the world actually, but most Americans)
They are here for the military exercise called Cold Response
Military vehicles on the road and military choppers flying over our house many times a day
But its fun to watch the big choppers...
And the US Marine landed with the biggest aircraft they have here a month ago
(Lockheed C-5 Galaxy) Its pretty cool actually...

Happy Friday Eve!! Nice and sunny day but definitely cold out there. Not up too much today just working. Then I need to take my older daughter to get fabric for Family Consumer Services class, they are making pj pants. The tonight we have my youngest daughter's shadow puppet play. Not sure what that really entails so we'll see.

We are at 35 degrees here currently, and may not get out of the 40's this afternoon.
(At least no precipitation is included in the forecast.)

Thank you both. Maggie had a pretty good stretch last night, she slept until 4:00am. I was up and down with her after that but compared to previous nights, that was really good.
