I walked into a major mess this morning, spent all day getting cleaned up and caught up. Tomorrow should be a better day, Corned Beef is selling like crazy. Hams are starting to make their presence felt, it is very tough when two food based holidays are so close together, only 10 days this year. I started with 2400 corned beef, I am down to 1700 after this weekend. Busy busy busy.

Yes, the temperatures are going to be much warmer this week. It was very warm yesterday ~ I didn't need a coat during the afternoon. Could hit 60+ today!

How are you all? I hope you had a good weekend and ready for the new week. Yesterday was mother's day here. It was nice to be off for the whole weekend. We were busy though getting the house ready to be put up for sale. We finally decided on an estate agent and I have to say it was very difficult. We kept going back and forth between two. Hoping and praying that everything goes favourably for us. We are nervous and excited at the same time

It is very cold out. Winter is here for another few weeks. What about you guys? Any signs of spring yet?

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

Jacob had a big musical weekend. His band that operates through his music lessons school played Friday night here in Claxton, and his newest band that he's formed with some friends played Saturday night in a town 2 hours away. Both gigs went great! He really does have a great talent for music.

Sam mentioned Spring springing...it's already sprung here in the deep south. Yesterday afternoon, I was out in the yard, washing cars and cleaning to pool...in shorts! I didn't know my legs had gotten that white LOL. Nancy and I even went for a long walk around Bellville, with Lulu, of course.

Good morning, Happy Monday!
Can't believe we are a week in to March already. I didn't do any decorating for Easter yet. I should really put a few things out today. I'm having a birthday party for my mother on Saturday so I need to start getting the house in order. I kind of let the house go when I was sick. I just plan on doing a little bit every day. I also need to run to Target to pick up a few things. Not too much else going on. Oh I forgot to mention I bought Def Leppard tickets again, they're scheduled to play at a different venue in July. So I'll get to see them after all. I hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

Thanks everybody! I am feeling a little better, still have a sore throat and very tired. But I have not had a fever this morning so that's good. Still kind of chilled though. Gracie hasn't thrown up since about 530 last night, but she just ate a little bit of her food a few minutes ago, so hopefully that stays down – hoping for no more problems!
I did not go to my sister-in-law's this morning – my sister said she did not want to be cooped up in the car with me! Ha ha! So I've been on the couch pretty much all morning! I may go to my sister-in-law's this afternoon – see once how I feel!
Hope you're all having a wonderful day… As wonderful as a Monday can be anyway!

Adi will be traveling when they typically want us to make our choices, so it will have to be earlier.

Harlowe is doing better overall, the Vetmedin has been amazing for the most part. No side effects that we know of, I just wish it would help more with the restlessness, distress, and discomfort she has overnight.I will speak to her vet after the full 8 days of doses have been in her, if nothing changes. As for her activity level, energy, interest, playfulness, they have all increased =]
I do notice her coughing some still, so I must mention that to her vet as well.

Merry Monday, all! Just dropping in to let everyone know that my (previously broken) leg has healed like a champ. I don't even need a cane now, and I am slowly but surely regaining enough flex in the ankle region to be able to play the pedals when I play the organ. I am very, very pleased! On another bright note, I weighed myself today and I lost 15 pounds during this little adventure. I am planning on taking full advantage of this, and am now actively watching what I eat. Exercise is still a little rough; even though I'm not using a cane I still have a pretty good lurch going on when I walk. But when all is said and done, I'm doing really well. Hey, it's even sunny here today! Whoooo!

Mom is doing pretty well! She's just a little depressed after the doc told her it would be May 1st until she's back to 100%, but one day at a time. She almost fell Saturday. My hubby caught her - she twisted her ankle & now has a sore ankle! But other than that, she's hanging in there like a champ!

Oh my, that fall could have been an awful complication for your mom. So glad Jim was able to catch her! Praying her ankle will be better today!

Evening all,
Hope your day is going well. We have a few things to get done tonight after the kids are in bed. Then hopefully we can have a little quiet time to unwind before bed. Tomorrow is another busy day but at least I can look forward to a whole weekend off! Mr Festive will be in Germany from the end of the week till Monday so it will be just me and boys this weekend.

Considering I had a hard time getting out of bed this morning, I've gotten a lot accomplished already. Work emails are done, caught up on the forums and I even listened to the series finale of Downton Abbey (*sniff* it's over, but boy, was it done right!!). Busy day ahead of me ~ lots of little store tasks need to be taken care of which take a surprising amount of time to finish.

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! It's definitely feeling like spring this week so far and will continue through the week. It's a great feeling. Gonna be unreal this weekend when we spring ahead our sunset won't be till 7PM! Awesome. I love it. And the awesome part for us "BER" fanatics is knowing it won't start to go back the other way till we approach the BERS again. I had a good Monday at work as things seemed more sane than they have in...well months! But I kept myself busy so as long as I can keep a happy medium most of the time there I'd be happy with that. Been thinking about the girl I saw in Church who I went to school with...kind of wanted to message her on FB but I just don't want her to feel weird about it. I really liked talking to her and I would like to see her again "on purpose" some time lol but I'm not sure if that's stupid or not. She's one of my friends on FB for a few years now and she's in between living in TX and living here in NY. Guess she's undecided where to stay. Speaking of stay...I've overstayed my welcome here.
