Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good evening,

Made it through another day, so my usual Wednesday off is here.
It was all about the hams, getting them ready with only 18 days until Easter.
I watched the Bruins game tonight, it was very exciting and they won 1-0 in overtime. They are now tied for first place with 14 games to go.
No plans tomorrow, I will probably be wearing shorts. it is suppose to be in the mid-70's.

Walking home from one of those on a warm summer's evening---sometimes with a plush toy I won, or a carnival snack ... good times.

When I was growing up, we had a neighbor with a swimming pool. Was I a little sunburned pest around there in the summertime sucking around every day for permission to come and swim? Believe it!! A hot day reminds me of those times.

Those are such lovely memories and reading it puts me in the mood for summer on this very wet and windy morning :)

One of my favourite summer memories from childhood is sitting under a tree in my favourite spot out on the meadow reading, writing and just daydreaming.

We cancelled our holiday trip two years ago, and really want to get there soon.
