Good Wednesday afternoon, my Christmas friends!
I've been working at a feverish pace this morning, attempting (in vain) to catch up...at work and on here.
The kids did a wonderful job in the chorus recital at school last night! We got so many compliments on them, we were a little embarrassed. I couldn't be more proud!
This weekend is the annual Rattlesnake & Wildlife Festival. It's a big, two-day festival with rattlesnake milking demonstrations & displays by the local Dept. of Natural Resources. It used to be a big event to bring the snakes that you caught to be measured & weighed as a competition, then sold to labs for anti-venom work. But PETA had a duck about it, so now it's just a regular festival. Who needs all that pesky anti-venom? LOL

It's hard to believe that my little girl is 14 today. Where does the time go? I keep telling her that no matter how old she gets, she'll always be my baby girl (she's the one on the left in this pic about 6mo old)

Time goes fast...but yeah no matter her age you'll still be her dad. Shoot I was like 28 years old going out without a jacket in the rain one day and my mom said to me "you're gonna get sick." It's just parents instinct no matter what age you are!
