Good Wednesday afternoon, my Christmas friends!

I've been working at a feverish pace this morning, attempting (in vain) to catch up...at work and on here.

The kids did a wonderful job in the chorus recital at school last night! We got so many compliments on them, we were a little embarrassed. I couldn't be more proud!

This weekend is the annual Rattlesnake & Wildlife Festival. It's a big, two-day festival with rattlesnake milking demonstrations & displays by the local Dept. of Natural Resources. It used to be a big event to bring the snakes that you caught to be measured & weighed as a competition, then sold to labs for anti-venom work. But PETA had a duck about it, so now it's just a regular festival. Who needs all that pesky anti-venom? LOL

Sounds like a great time was had by all last night! Awesome! I wonder where your kids get their talent. Ha ha ha!

Have fun at the Rattlesnake & Wildlife festival this weekend. Hard to imagine a festival this time of year. The way the temps are this year we could do it, but last year at this time we were still FREEZING!!!

It's hard to believe that my little girl is 14 today. Where does the time go? I keep telling her that no matter how old she gets, she'll always be my baby girl (she's the one on the left in this pic about 6mo old)

No, I couldn't today. I'm at the animal hospital to talk to her vet & pick up refills of her prescriptions. Adi is home with her, though She's been resting, and took both of the meds.

I'm excited for Spring, too! It's chilly here today.

74 and sunny yesterday. I had the Windows open and the ceiling fans on. I even sat out with the neighbors last night. Now I'm getting ready for heavy rain the rest of the week. Ugh.

Happy Pines Made...I heard we may get rain this week too but the weather is beautiful today!

LOL...or shoes, slippers, silverware, blankets, yarn, soup cans, egg cartons, um Gracie's list goes on & on.

LOL....her and my Leo would be best buddies! Leo is also a garbage thief!

Just realized I never said good morning. It's already after 11:00 here. I'm moving slow today, Maggie woke me up around 2:30 and I had the hardest time falling back to sleep. Anyway, I should really get off of this computer and get some things done around the house. Hope everyone is having a nice day so far!

Happy Pines HMG!! Hope you can get some rest. I was up at 3am for no reason and could not fall back asleep until after 4. I was so happy to have a cup of coffee this morning!

It is 76 outside...just beautiful! I did a walk/run outside so nice to be out. We are planning on grilling out tonight so we I may have a glass of wine on the deck!

Thanks!!! We are doing pretty good. Me and mom have been battling colds but nothing to major. My sister in Seattle had to have surgery a few weeks ago to have some parts removed but she is recovering well. The nieces are as bad as ever.

I hope you and mom get well soon. Keeping your sister in my thoughts as well, I hope she has a speedy recovery!
