It was almost (but not quite) TOO warm yesterday, with the still low humidity, lots of sun, gentle breezes, no rain and negligible pollen.
(Hey! It doesn't get much better than that around here at this point in the year.)
We are at 66 degrees here right now.

Happy Friday, MMC!!!! Well the first round of rain has passed and it looks like today will be sunny with a high in the 60's. I can deal with that. I have a few errands to run today if I can find the motivation. These cold and allergy meds are making it hard to keep my eyes open. I think I need to fire up the keurig again. Good morning ~
I'm heading out soon, I would like to get a new outfit for my mothers birthday party that is tomorrow night. I need to stop at the florist too, my daughters boyfriends grandma passed away yesterday and I want to send flowers to the house. I'll have to attend another wake Sunday, that makes two in one week. I also need to stop at Rite Aid to pick up a prescription and run to Hallmark for a couple of cards. Other than that I'll be working on a few chores around the house. Hope everyone is well and has a nice day. I've got to run, be back later.

The meteorologist on Boston.com yesterday declared that winter is over, and that he doesn't believe there's any more credible chance of frigid weather or snow this winter. Around our house the birds and even the peeper frogs are carrying on as though it's already April.

Pizzzzzzzzzzza I think that I will get that next Friday. I'm about to go to IHOP now and may pick up Wendys for tonight. Not the healthiest combo but I have not had any real fast food this year. I don't eat at McDonalds or Burger King, KFC, Taco Bell, etc....Wendys is my only one.

It went pretty well, I think. After listening to Harlowe's heart, lungs, and breathing, she couldn't hear anything unusual-like increased fluid build-up, crackling, wheezing, etc.
So she's hoping it's something minor like a cold, or irritated throat from something she ate, extra humidity we're having, etc. She did tell me to videotape it on my phone, if possible, and e-mail it to her if it continues. That way, I don't have to keep taking her in.
As far as the restlessness and anxiety at night goes, she recommended an herbal supplement that we will start giving Harlowe. Fingers crossed that it will allow her to relax and rest better. She is hoping that it's behavioral and not something bothering her physically, because she's been doing it for a few years now. It's tricky since being restless at night is a known symptom of Congestive Heart Failure-it could actually be even both of them. So our hope is that it will help the situation, t least.
Overall, it was a good appointment!
It's so hard not knowing with animals, I wish they could tell you what's wrong, but it ends up being process of elimination at times. We'll just keep having positive thoughts and hope that our girl can live a comfortable life <3

My Saturday morning is made even better knowing that I don't have work tomorrow! Yes!
We have a sudden change in weather and experiencing mild dry conditions till mid week! It's such a welcome surprise as a week ago they were saying we were due for a month of bitter cold and snow! Perhaps that will resume but for now I am happy to have spring for a few days. I am hoping it's the beginning of a long term change!

I plan on painting my front fence today as the weather is on my side. After that I should have plenty of time to relax with the boys.

Well better get moving. Nothing like home DIY on a bright, sunny Saturday morning to put a spring your step

How is Miss Palmer?

Fingers crossed that the supplement helps, it's a chewable treat, and she didn't find it treat-worthy when I gave it to her. Although she wasn't disinterested, either. She ended up just leaving it laying there, so I picked it up and cut it into smaller pieces and took it with us on our walk. There was a huge crowd of kids at the basketball court, and they were making her nervous with all of the screaming & scooters flying by. So, I stood in front of her and she sat down. I praised her for being so good & gave one to her, she gobbled it up. So I gave her the other few bites. I'll keep trying it this way!

Harlowe & I got a good night of sleep last night, it feels amazing.
I'm not sure if it was the supplement, or the fact that she's off of Furosemide again, or a combination of both. I'm hoping it's the supplement so it can happen more often!

We are unsure of our plans at the moment, but either way it will be pretty laid back.
It will be our last spring like day before the cold and snow return.
So we intend to enjoy it to the fullest =]

Good Saturday Morning MMC! It's beautiful outside as the sun is shining but the chill is back in the air. After all it is March but it still feels nice out. Kind of feels like an October/November morning. Ahh we can only dream about those days! But it's a great time of year to spring ahead tonight. It's gonna be nice being light out till almost around 7PM now. Love the longer days. Just gives you more energy. Should be a nice day here. I hope you guys are all having a great Saturday as you read this. I am enjoying coffee and a donut this morning, relaxing, reading MMC...perfect Saturday morning to me!
