Christmas Countdown - 2016

Good morning everyone, Happy Sunday ~
The party went well last night, we had a great time. It's going to be another busy day here. My husband & I will be heading to my in-law's early this afternoon. We are going to a St. Patrick's Day parade with them, then back to their house afterward for corned beef & cabbage. We also have to attend the wake this evening for my daughters boyfriends grandma. I'm exhausted from yesterday so it's going to be a long day for me. I hope everyone is handling the time change better than I am!

Continuing on, we relentlessly pursue one Milestone after another until the date, November 13, when we arrive at Christmas Season 2016.

The current data:
Days to the Season: 245
Days to Christmas Day: 287

We will be 1/3 of the way to our long-awaited Season the day after tomorrow, Guys!
Yes. It's really true. Check out the chart. It's later than you think (in more ways than one!)


It cooled off just a tad yesterday, but it was fantastic, with plenty of sun, low humidity and gentle breezes.
Today will see another warm-up and we have begun this second half of the weekend at 67 degrees here in the capital city, with a chance of rain this afternoon.

Our youngest boy was up at 4 a.m. so I didnt really notice the time difference this morning.

I am so happy not to be in work today. I wish the children hadn't woke me up so early though. It's a bright sunny morning. I thought it was a lot later when I woke up. Our clocks change at the end of the month. I hope you guys adjust to your time change today! Doesn't feel long ago since the last clock change back in Autumn.

I managed to paint the fence this morning at last! The wood has dried out and the weather will be dry for a couple of days so I seized the opportunity.

It's mid day here and we are heading down to the meadow to visit the horses and have a picnic. When I get back I may tackle another job in the house. I can't stay still and my husband isn't here to make me :D
