Harlowe & I had a rough night, unfortunately.
After a wonderful Saturday, out of the blue last evening- she started drinking excessively & having to go outside every hour. From my amateur research, it could be one of five things. Only one not serious, so I pray for that.
We just can't catch a break here lately.
Of course, tomorrow is her vet's day off. I will definitely be calling in and asking to talk to a vet Tech or other vet in the practice. She did have some lab work the day that she was diagnosed with congestive heart failure, so I hope it was a full lab where some of these other serious diseases would have shown up.
Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers!

Yeah...did you ever hear about that guy who would dress up as Santa, wrap presents, make a Christmas meal with his tree lit every day and celebrate Christmas for like years straight? I don't even know if it was true but I read about it. I would be ok if we had Christmas twice a year...so we would only have to wait 6 months.

My Crazy Obsession did a story about him for one of their Christmas episodes. It was interesting.

I'm so sorry to hear that Snowflake. I hope the veterinarian can figure out what's going on. I know how frightened you are, I will be praying hard. Stay strong. Sending lots of love and big hugs your way. I hope you both have a good night <3

Turn the AC on really cool, shut the shades & watch Hallmark Christmas movies, bake, watch CIJ on QVC!!

When does the Hallmark Dream Book start to sneak out? If memory serves me correctly it is pretty soon.

I spent the day keeping busy with cleaning, and making our corned beef dinner. Being part Irish I must be sure to have it this time of year like most.
It is also one if the toughest days of the year for me, it is the 25th anniversary of my mother's passing, so keeping busy helps keep it off my mind, but I am emotional and irritable as I usually am on this day.
My weekend off is over, but I have a sequel to follow next weekend.

I spent the day keeping busy with cleaning, and making our corned beef dinner. Being part Irish I must be sure to have it this time of year like most.
It is also one if the toughest days of the year for me, it is the 25th anniversary of my mother's passing, so keeping busy helps keep it off my mind, but I am emotional and irritable as I usually am on this day.
My weekend off is over, but I have a sequel to follow next weekend.

We sure did. We went to the theatre yesterday with 3 modern ballet shows and had some lovely family time. Wish you a great week and may Harlow get better soon!

Ah ha Festive! I love it b/c every time I hear Badfinger now, I think of you!! I don't think I ever told you the other week when mom was in the hospital, I pulled into the hospital & "no matter what" was on the radio - then afterwards I stopped at the grocery & when I left, "Without You" was on & I thought "This is a Sam day!" LOL Love it!! Hope you are having a great day!

Hahaha A Sam day! I love it! Same here. I think of you too every time I listen to them. Yesterday after I heard them I was planning on posting that I was thinking of you and hoping the clear out was going well at your SIL. When I came on here though - there you were!! LOL!

Nah, I don't believe that will ever happen!

No ... it tastes like a spice cookie (cinnamon, nutmeg, etc.), but spreads like peanut butter. It's made from Biscoff cookies. I spread some on an Eggo waffle for breakfast, and it was nice!

Oh, that is different. I'll have to see if I can find it in the local supermarkets.

Thanks! For some reason, walk time is when she prefers certain treats! And it helped distract her from things that can make her anxious.

Poor sweetie. Palmer is anxious a lot, too, and she is in the house. Nothing really eases her discomfort except hiding until whatever has scared her is gone. I think she might have hearing problems. It is good that you have figured out a way to distract Harlowe!

Nutella is chocolatey heaven in a jar. But I'm biased because I love hazelnuts.

I hope everyone enjoyed their Saturday. I'm winding down after work. In my mind, it's already 1 hour ahead, so not too long until I turn in for the night. I hate losing one hour of sleep but I love getting out of work and seeing actual daylight.

We will be 1/3 of the way to our long-awaited Season the day after tomorrow, Guys!

It cooled off just a tad yesterday, but it was fantastic, with plenty of sun, low humidity and gentle breezes.
Today will see another warm-up and we have begun this second half of the weekend at 67 degrees here in the capital city, with a chance of rain this afternoon.
