Monday doldrums are done, time to get ready for the Tuesday turnaround.
I woke up to about 4 inches of snow outside, the school was canceled for the day because it is a mountainous town and not all the roads were clear in time for the buses to safely pass.
Nothing else to report tonight.
I think I am going to get ready for my nightly trip to slumberland, I am yawning uncontrollably at this point.

I don't really know ... a few weeks ago toward the end of my workday, I noticed it was achy, stiff, and painful. It's been that way (to varying degrees---sometimes mild, sometimes awful) ever since. It hurts when I write or when I grip something or lift something. In that way, it's kinda like tennis elbow. It's been bothering me all weekend and today. Thank goodness I didn't have to shovel the snow this morning---Mr. was here. Aleve and Icy Hot help a little bit, but I shouldn't go to the office tomorrow smelling like Icy Hot ...

It could be a strained muscle or tendon if you work on a computer or hold a pen a lot. It might be worth getting it checked out. Sometimes it may just be a case of doing specific exercise to get things back to normal. It must be so uncomfortable considering how much we use our hands!!! Look after yourself. Prayers for things to heal quickly.

Sounds good and the menu is delicious!
We will be going to an annual Easter carnival/fair and Easter market that we check out every year with the kids. I also do an egg hunt for the children on Sunday morning and we will cook together a lamb roast with all the trimmings for our dinner. It will be a pretty low key and laid back weekend. The weather is supposed to be bad.

We will try to get a couple jobs done around the house too as we have the time off.

Easter sure has come around fast.

I'm sorry the weather is supposed to be bad ~ hope the forecast is wrong and it turns out to be a lovely day. Your plans sound wonderful! I agree, Easter has come around fast.

Good Monday Morning MMC! Happy Easter Week! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I can't complain cause I've had back to back 3 day weekends. Time to put in a couple of 5 day weeks before I get another long weekend in April. On Saturday evening I went to this show at a local arena and when I came out around 10PM to go back to my car (I left early to try to get to the lot to get out before many others left) I saw lots of cop cars and flashing lights. I was like wow what happened...looked like a scene out of a movie. I saw someone on a stretcher and realized a car had crashed. I got home to find out on the news that someone had hit a pedestrian who was crossing the intersection and killed them. Unbelievable. They said it happened literally within a few minutes of when I had left the arena so I almost saw it live (scary to even think about). Anyway as they say just appreciate everyday because life is crazy and we never know what will happen. Not to sound somber about it...but more just to appreciate today for what today is.

Here we are again. At the start of yet another week. The beginning of the next set of 7 steps, each one of which advances us forward towards Christmas Season 2016.

The count:
Days to the Season: 237
Days to Christmas Day: 279

Five -- count 'em -- FIVE more days remain until we have completed the first quarter of our march back to Christmas Day.
(Making steady progress, we are!)

Well, it was quite chilly and overcast here all day yesterday and the temperature never got out of the lower half of the 40's.
Today should see a nice improvement to the upper 50's, then a beautiful next several days with warm temps and no rain at least until Friday.
Currently, we stand at 39 degrees here in the capital city.

As expected, it started to snow overnight, and we're expecting 3 to 6 inches before it's over. Schools in my area are delayed 2 hours, and the radio is reporting some spinouts and crashes on major highways, so I'm staying put and working from home for now. If they need me onsite later, I'll drive in when the snow is over and the driveway is clear. Also, my elbow is hurting again, so I'm not feeling ambitious or adventurous this morning.

I hope your elbow is better!

I just checked the weather here Merry..we have snow coming after 10pm tonite most of the week.

We did pretty good. She was up for a bit, but we were able to go back to sleep pretty easily. She's doing surprisingly well since Adi left, I'm grateful for that
