I love "Just About Perfect"™!Good Wednesday (Pinesday!) morning, my Christmas friends!
The weather is "Just About Perfect"™! That's Bernie's catchphrase, so I have to trademark it when I use it. He really is locally famous for that phrase, and he uses it every time you ask him how he is LOL.
I'm going out on a job site this afternoon, for an inspection. I volunteered just to get out of the office an into the wonderful weather.
Nancy and I have been trying to get Jacob caught up on all the graduation needs and expenses. I just booked his Grad Bash trip to Orlando, we have to order his cap & gown, his invitations, his tux for prom, and now I have to order his "graduation present"? I don't remember getting a present for HS graduation, much less what Nancy has in mind. Grrr.

Graduation time is quickly approaching. Hard to believe! I remember getting luggage for a graduation gift. I think that was from my brothers/sisters. Not sure if Mom/Dad were included in on that? LOL! I still have that luggage too, by the way! It's in bad shape & we have gotten new since, but I do still have it. LOL

My night was good. Took a pretty long walk with Gracie, worked on my afghan, which is something I haven't done for too long! We caught some boys at the neighbors across the street - I was just watching The Bridge 2 & hooking when I saw these strange car lights parking in front of our house. So I turned off the lights & hollered at Jim & I peeked out the window....Jim said he saw 2 people walking to the neighbors car (she is a Sr. in high school) - So Jim opened our front door & Gracie took off & barked her head off & Jim hollered "HEY!" & 6 boys took off RUNNING...they had 2 vehicles...3 went in 1, 3 in the other & they went FLYING down the road. We called our neighbors & told them to check Shannon's car - we met them outside & she had miracle whip on her back windshield, shaving cream on her windows & caramel syrup on her front windshield. So Shannon got to clean her car at 10pm. LOL! I was glad that was all it was & not someone trying to break in her vehicle! Gracie was looking for excitement out the window the rest of the night. LOL!
Me too! And Lime. Makes me think of SUMMER!

Mom is doing well! She goes to see her heart doc today. Hoping she can stop the Coumadin. xx Yesterday she went with my sister & Emma to see my uncle (who Emma stayed with before she started staying with mom) - my moms youngest sister met them there too... and they went out to eat. Mom was tired when they got home. Today they are going to eat & she has the doc apt. She was released from home health so we'll have to start getting her out more & see how she does with endurance. But every day seems better! Thanks for asking!

So yesterday evening we watched The Big Short, what a fabulous movie, so well acted. Tonight we have Mission Impossible 5 lined up, should be entertaining. Last night we also took Loki out to get groomed. He was really due. Here is the before and after:

That is nuts! Thank God you guys saw them arrive, so you could help your neighbor! I bet she was appreciative. And annoyed having to clean her car at 10 PM-but without you guys, it would've been much worse!

Now this is excellent news to hear she is getting up and about. That is wonderful and it must do her a world of good ! I hope that the appointment goes well today and she can stop the Coumadin. It's a custom electric bass guitar that he's coveted for years. It costs more than my American-made Fender Stratocaster, my Peavey tweed 100w amp, and my Alvarez dreadnaught acoustic guitar combined.
