Just wanted to stop by and say hi! I hope everyone has a blessed Good Friday and Easter weekend!
I sure miss everyone and hope you are all doing well!
Goodnight, CS~
Glad you found it!Finally get to sit with that cup of tea. I could not find a box of expensive cake decorating stuff that also contained all my winning ribbons. So of course I could not sit down until it was found and I am happy to say I found it. It got put in the basement even though labled for the kitchen.
That's what you get when so many help move LOL .
Bless their hearts, at least it got here.
You too!
Hey! We are good! Hope you are doing well!
You're welcome, friend!!
xx
Thank you, M!
Hope you are having a blessed Good Friday, as well!![]()
Thanks, Meceka!! Hope you have a blessed weekend as well!!!!
Spring is great and all but flooding can be a nightmare in so many places. Hope the back field dries up before it becomes an issue.
The quiche was great (see pic below). The crust was made with day-old bread and butter, much easier than a traditional crust (crusts and me are not friends). Fresh herbs, onions, grape tomatoes, different cheeses and eggs and milk, really simple. I will make it again. I too love trying new recipes, we get tired of having the same food over and over.

Goodnight, MMC ~ merry dreams!!
When you said trim some trees I was thinking we were in November already and ready to put up the Christmas decorations!Good evening everyone! My day was kind of hectic but I was able to cross several things off of my to do list. I have a lot of running around to do tomorrow as well. Just found out my husband has someone coming to trim a couple of trees in the yard tomorrow morning. I'm hoping it doesn't hold me up. I wanted to food shop early to try and beat the crowds. We'll see what happens. Anyway, I hope everyone had a nice day. I'll see you in the morning, goodnight!

Good Morning, Folks.
Hey!
** MILESTONE DAY ** tomorrow!
<< Really, Crown?? >>
Really!!
The numbers:
Days to the Season: 233
Days to Christmas Day: 275
ONE QUARTER OF THE WAY BACK TO CHRISTMAS as of tomorrow.
It's true.
Really.
Wonderful day yesterday......except for one thing.
Yes, it was sunny.
Indeed, the temps were moderate.
Rain? Nope. No wind, either. Or humidity.
Then, what could be wrong?
POLLEN. Everywhere, the POLLEN!
Great clouds of yellow coating anything and everything.
(Praise the Lord I'm not allergic or I would be under an oxygen tent by now!)
A bit of rain would wash some of this away but we won't likely get any today.
Sixty-Six degrees is the current reading.
But whatever your weather (or pollen count) you have a Fabulous Friday and a Wondrous Weekend Eve, OK?
Good to see you Brent. I definitely look forward to hearing from you here. You are definitely one of the people I think of the most when I think about Christmas.Good evening, everyone!
It's been a while. I apologize for my disappearance. I have been thrown one curveball after another. I have been in the same teaching position since just before Christmas. The Grade 7 and 8s and taken a lot of out of me. It's only been .6 of a day, but they are exhausting. I think it's just a tough year.
Finally, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Long story short, although their regular teacher isn't coming back, they will be getting a new teacher after next week. I didn't ask to get out of the position - even though I cannot really afford to live on barely $1,000 every two weeks. Instead, a few things have been finalized and they are legally obliged to post the position for a competition. I can apply, I am just not on the first-come-first-serve list.
Normally, most people would be overly upset about losing their position... I think I will miss teaching a few of the kids, however, I am definitely more suited for the high school work, and I am pretty sure that I will return to supplying nearly every day, too.
Even through all this, I have been keeping everyone here - and Christmas - in my heart. I have missed you guys. Be sure to celebrate Rudolph Day tonight! I should be searching through Netflix shortly for a Christmas movie!
I hope you all enjoy your night and Easter Weekend!
