Thanks, Edge. Those kind words mean a lot. I am looking forward to having a year full of Christmas discussions with you and everyone else. How about that milestone tomorrow?!

When the sun came out this afternoon, it started to dry up rather quick. The seasonal creek is down, so for now all is well!

That quiche looks so good!! I'm glad it turned out!! A bread crust sounds interesting ~ going to have to try that out some day! :)

Just found out my husband has someone coming to trim a couple of trees in the yard tomorrow morning. I'm hoping it doesn't hold me up. I wanted to food shop early to try and beat the crowds. It's been a while. I apologize for my disappearance. I have been thrown one curveball after another. I have been in the same teaching position since just before Christmas. The Grade 7 and 8s and taken a lot of out of me. It's only been .6 of a day, but they are exhausting. I think it's just a tough year.

Finally, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Long story short, although their regular teacher isn't coming back, they will be getting a new teacher after next week. I didn't ask to get out of the position - even though I cannot really afford to live on barely $1,000 every two weeks. Instead, a few things have been finalized and they are legally obliged to post the position for a competition. I can apply, I am just not on the first-come-first-serve list.

Normally, most people would be overly upset about losing their position... I think I will miss teaching a few of the kids, however, I am definitely more suited for the high school work, and I am pretty sure that I will return to supplying nearly every day, too.

Even through all this, I have been keeping everyone here - and Christmas - in my heart. I have missed you guys. Be sure to celebrate Rudolph Day tonight! I should be searching through Netflix shortly for a Christmas movie!

Thanks, snowflake! Always great to see you, too! Me too. Christmas movies are just so much more exciting than Easter movies!

It's amazing...coworker is always telling me too he doesn't understand where time goes anymore. I always say a month is basically just 1 really long week. Scary if you think about it that way but thats how a month feels to me the last several years.

Good evening, and Happy Rudolph Day!

Another long day, one more to go and I have to be there extra early tomorrow morning.
I did make a quick stop at Goodwill while waiting for our Chinese food. (not P.F. Chang's, but Tang's) I found something very interesting there while looking around. I picked it up for $4. I will post a picture of it when I get a little more time, it has to do with the movie White Christmas.

I am heading to the land on nod, 4:30 will be here before I know it.

These past few months have felt like forever to me! ... Now that I am finally back here, I am sure that it will speed up.
