The moment I have been talking about is here, my find from Goodwill looks to be a commemorative light from the 50th anniversary of White Christmas. It has a tag from Universal dated for 2004. I also found a book today at Goodwill that I have had my eye on Amazon for a few years now. I got it for a $1 instead of the $20+. It is called Holidays on Display.

Good evening, friends! Hope everyone is well! Just skimmed through today's posts, now it's time to head to the Pines. Is the coffee ready? Anybody seen Binger and Made? How bout Brad? No telling what those two guys and the gender neutral are up to right now!

Storm is moving in here....Bambina, Lil' Princess, and I are about to lay in bed and watch Nta! That was Bambina calls Santa. We have Christmas cartoons on our DVR and she wants to watch certain ones all the time. You know what they say about the apple and the tree....

Y'all have a great Thursday and Friday. Likely won't be around tomorrow night, gotta go buy groceries. See y'all Friday or Saturday morning!

Just returned from Batman V Superman. GREAT MOVIE!! I am a big comic book geek, as is my wife. We go to comic book conventions and dress as super heroes so you know we are serious.

I am a really big Batman fan, and I am picky about how Batman is portrayed. I went into the movie skeptical based on the trailers and what I had heard. It was all lies. The movie was wonderful from start to finish. Ben Affleck was great as an older Batman. The movie is not constant action, but a well told story with action thrown in here and there.

I haven't had any McDonald's food since June 30, 1997. It will be my 20th anniversary of quitting working and eating there this year. I still love Wendy's and Burger King. I ate enough McD's while working there to last a life time. I got so sick of food in general while working there I lost 60lbs and looked emaciated.

BK I can go either way with...but I do love Wendys. Probably only eat there maybe 3-4 times a year though.

Good evening, everyone!

Just checking in for a quick "hello." It's been an interesting week. I have been told that my job has been "posted" and should be filled by the middle of next week. I'm really hoping so!

Today was interesting... I could not teach my physical education classes. At hockey last night, I went to block a slap shot and was struck in the side of the neck with a puck. It was quite painful. I didn't get a concussion, but I had plenty of difficulty breathing and getting up afterward... I just came back from the doctor, and it seems as if everything is OK. I just need to keep icing and watching it to make sure it goes down. Fun stuff!

Well, I need to get some school work done. Have a great Wednesday evening, everyone. See you at the 'Pines!
