another storm moving through today, snow and possible ice rain. Hoping it will not be to bad. I would really like to see some flowers now.

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day! Seems like every time I turn around we're back to the Pines again. Time flies when you're having fun! I slept better last night but still need another night I think to get back on track. I'm so OCD/creature of habit. I need a certain amount of sleep, exercise, etc. I'm like on a schedule and if I get off it I just get messed up. Well it's a COLD 24 degrees this morning. Luckily the wind isn't as bad as yesterday. We are supposed to get milder for Thursday before we get back to the chill on the weekend. Good news is the weatherman said by the 2nd half of April we should warm up back to at least normal maybe even above normal.

Good morning everyone, Merry Pines Day!
My husband just left for work but he's coming back in a little while, he's taking my middle one to look at a school. I would have taken her myself but it's too far for me, definitely out of my comfort zone. If my daughter is interested in the program then I'll go back with them to check it out. It will be a typical day of errands and chores for me. I have to run to the bank and Rite Aid. I also have to make a few phone calls. Still waiting to hear from my neurologist, hopefully I'll get my test results today.

But, here's more to consider: the 1/3 Christmas Day Milestone marker arrives the day before. That's LESS than 3 weeks!
(Time sure comes and goes quickly around here!)


Chilly weather is back, as this morning's thermometer reading informs us here in central NC, where we stand at 34 degrees.
It is sunny, however, and no precipitation will concern us until tonight.


Well, can it be 'Pines Day again already? The calendar doesn't lie. (It never does.)
Carl is ready as always with fired twinkies, sweet southern ice tea......and other "experimental" beverage blends of a -- well -- questionable nature.

Merry Pines Day!! Work is so busy these days I barely have time to breathe but I will just keep plugging along that is all I can do! It is so cold out this morning...spring needs to hurry on its way! Hope you all have a great day.

Happy Weds!! I awoke this morning "fit as a fiddle" no signs of sickness remaining. We still have snow on the ground so thats a treat. On the down side..I have dragged my feet taking down Easter deco's...lol..actually have removed nothing at all.

Good Pinesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Nothing much to report today. Before I left work yesterday, I was asked by our IT guys to replace a battery-backup that had failed on the server. No problem, right? Instead of sending me a new APC, they sent me replacement batteries for it. I had to take the box apart and change the batteries. It doesn't sound too complicated as I type this, but it was a pain...literally. I burnt my finger on the crazy battery post that got too hot. Grrr. But, it's done.

Other than that, we went to mom's for supper last night. We're going to Nancy's mom's for supper tonight. Anyone else want to cook supper for us on Thursday? I'll pencil it in on my calendar. I know it sounds like I'm complaining, but we haven't had a chance to be home and cook supper in weeks because of all the dance & guitar practices. This week is their week off from that, and we've still been away from home every night. LOL
