Good morning, Brad~Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!
The Senior Prom is behind us, finally! When I was a kid, the prom was a fancy dance and a fancy dinner out. Now, all of (us) parents were invited to go early to take pictures, along with three professional photographers, of the Senior Walk. The seniors and their dates are introduced individually and escorted to the photography stage where all the photographers and parents snap it up. It took forever LOL! They had a DJ and a catered meal.
They went to an after-prom party at one of Jacob's friend's house, and Jacob's band played. All in all, I think it was a great evening for him.
Now I have to take my truck to my brother's shop. I have a "check engine" light on, and it's running a little rough. I hope it's not an expensive fix!
And I hope y'all have a great Saturday!![]()
Thanks my friend. Enjoy your Saturday!Night, friend!! Enjoy day 2 of your weekend tomorrow!!
Wow that sounds like some game!Good evening,
I just had to pop in after seeing the most incredible game I have ever seen in person in any sport.
The New England Black Wolves (box lacrosse) were losing 7-1 in the second period, they came back and won 14-13 with the game winner being scored with about 3 minutes left in the game. It was an amazing game, just being there and feeling the electricity in the crowd as the comeback started was just WOW!
The win also gave them a berth in the playoffs.
Our first game last weekend made us fans, this game tonight has made us fans for life.
I hope you all had a great day.
I have to be at work in 5.5 hours, soooo...
Goodnight, everyone.
You too HMG! Doesn't feel like April but at least it's Saturday!Good morning Edge, Happy Saturday!
Hope you have a great day!!!
I liked season 1 but I mean after watching TWD it's not on the same level. But I do like a few of the characters in it and I think as a short introduction season it was solid. Hoping season 2 is better! We weren't too impressed with the first season, but we're hoping this one gets better. The clips that were shown through TWD season about the plane flight were pretty good, so maybe this season will get rolling!
Morning snowflake!Morning, Edge!!
Sounds like they got the VIP celebrity treatmentGood Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

Thanks Crown! April seems to already be off to the races (can't believe tomorrow is the 10th already)!Good Morning, Christmas Comrades and Season Supporters!
We are graced with another weekend and another count delivery -- the gift that just keeps getting smaller.
Behold:
Days to the Season: 218
Days to Christmas Day: 260
And coming soon to a thread near you -- the 1/3 Christmas Day Milestone and the 200-day Season Window.
The former just is 17 days away and the latter, 18.
Closing in on BACK TO BACK Milestones.
(Double the fun!!)
Pleasantly cool here yesterday, with plenty of sun and no precipitation.
This morning has started a bit chilly for April at 48 degrees, but hopefully the abundant sunshine will quickly warm things up.
Have a Sensational Saturday, Everyone.
I hope your weekend is off to a great start!

Enjoy the snow & Christmas tunes!Woke up this morning to a solid dusting of snow, ice on the roads, covered by snow. Since it looks like winter, I guess I will listen to Christmas music all day!![]()
Best wishes to your son, and you! This morning I took my oldest boy to get his driver's permit. He passed the test. So.... I am of course excited for him, but now I have to teach him to drive, which brings a whole mess of other potential issues. lol
My little boy, though he is about 4 inches taller than me, is growing up.
It's still weird seeing our son drive off alone, and now our daughter has her learner's permit. Times, they are a-changin'.This morning I took my oldest boy to get his driver's permit. That sounds like perfect rational thinking to me...Woke up this morning to a solid dusting of snow, ice on the roads, covered by snow. Since it looks like winter, I guess I will listen to Christmas music all day!![]()
