Morning beautiful people! It might actually hit 60 degrees here today, finally heading out of this cold snap. Looking forward to doing yard work and listening to Christmas music in the next few months! I hope that your day is merry and bright!

Ahh, yes! The elementary school I went to had a cow pasture running right alongside the playground. I'll never forget the day the cow gave birth during recess ... and the way the cows used to come up to the fence to listen when they heard the band rehearsing. Now there's a bypass where that cow pasture was.

Awesome! I didn't order anything too "fun" Mostly new rugs for out at the lake. All lake/nautical themed of course!! We need new rugs terribly out there! Also a foil pack for grill/campfire recipe book!

We found out that my father is having complications from stomach ulcers, the doctor said he's going to be alright though. He should be released over the next day or two.
Everything worked out for my daughter today. She got out of jury duty early today, thankfully there wasn't a conflict with her class tonight. And she's also not required to appear tomorrow which is great, so she won't miss her appointment to schedule next semesters classes. She is still on telephone standby for the rest of the two week period.
My dermatologist appointment went well, I'm glad I didn't cancel!

Good evening,

I never made it here yesterday, I was too tired to make an attempt. I got home and took a nap and pretty much vegged out the rest of the day.
Today was (Wed.) JP's 11th birthday, I can't believe he is already 11. Unfortunately he was sick tonight, and wasn't able to enjoy his special day too much. We have a small party planned for him on Saturday so hopefully that will make up for him being sick tonight. I still have catching up to do, but I will try that tomorrow.
I hope you all enjoyed your Pines Day.

Good morning everyone, Happy Thursday!
Maggie woke me up and I can't fall back to sleep. It's going to be a long day. I might as well start working on some chores and get them over with. I'm going to take a ride to the hospital later this morning to visit my father. I also have to stop at Target to pick up a few things. The Islanders kick off their first round playoff series tonight. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Sorry to hear Maggie had you up so early! I hope she is doing ok!! Enjoy the visit with your Dad - I hope he is feeling improved today!!! Enjoy the game tonight!

Our big walk through / inspection went well last night! A few minor things to change, but we got the nod to move on to the next one today. Fingers crossed!
