Christmas Countdown - 2016

I have not had a computer since mine died (my husband and I share) and I have been taking care of my aunt who fell and broke her leg a month ago. That plus work has been absolutely taking up all of my time. But I hope I'm back for good now! I won't ask for a full catch up and obviously can't see what's happened, but I hope you all are well and look forward to counting down the days with you! I haven't listened to Christmas music since last Christmas season, so I may have to do a little Christmasing tonight and start the joy. :)

Welcome back! I'm listening to Christmas music right now and it's pretty amazing! :)
 
Last Saturday, I ran in a 5K called the Puddle Jump. It goes to benefit the elementary school my kids went to and is in memory of a kindergarten teacher that passed 6-7 years ago. I ran it in just under 29 min. Pictured from left to right is me with my daughter, me with the Mrs, me with my sister and then my whole group. The Mrs and my sister walked at a quicker pace than my other two good friends and daughter (my daughter is still recovering from irritating her growth plate in her knee). This was the first year since my daughter started participating in it 5 years ago that we weren't freezing our ears off!! It was a fun and beautiful day.

Awesome!!! Great job! My husband and I both run, and I'm going to start training for my first half in August with him! Love races-they're so much fun!

Good evening ITP! We had weather that was sunny as all get out but almost 90 today! Dry heat though, so it felt wonderful! Monday was a good one-you're right! Hope you had a lovely day and that your weather continues!!

That's great FKB! Great minds think alike. :) I hope you're having a wonderful evening!! Kringle Radio is hitting the spot right now for my Christmas hankering! And it's relaxing too...so perfect. I don't do this often until Christmas in July and then until not again until November 1st, so enjoying a special treat tonight!
