I'm heading out in a few minutes, I have a doctor appointment this morning. Just a routine yearly exam. I'm going to run a couple of errands afterward then head back home to work on some chores around the house. My youngest has off today, we're going to grab Chipotle for lunch and then do some shopping later this afternoon. That's about it for me. Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Good Monday Morning MMC! Happy Rudolph Day #4! I know Crown will have some great news for us today regarding those upcoming big milestones this week. April turns to May next weekend (doesn't seem possible). Lots of good news this week for us Christmas season fans. Hope everyone had a great weekend. The weather was unbelievable again yesterday. It already is looking like next weekend is another beautiful weather weekend with 65 and sunny. Hard to beat that weather. I'm glad this year we've been staying pretty close to normal most of the spring. I love summer but I don't need it to get too warm until Memorial Day. Looking forward to several 3 day weekends coming this late spring/through summer.

Happy Monday everyone . I'm so glad I have Sunday and Monday off because instead of getting my yard work done yesterday I sat on the couch with my wife all day and watched TV movies on lifetime. wasted day maybe but quality time with her well worth it ..

Good morning, everyone!

It has been a very rushed morning. Now, I finally have a chance to relax, although I have only been awake for about an hour and a half!

For the first time this year, I am teaching somewhere that isn't Russell. I was told on Friday that it could be a quiet week, as no teachers were away for various school related activities. I received a call for North Dundas this morning, which is about a 45 minute drive away. When I received the call, I was half awake - after all, it was 6am... They used to start at 8:15am, so I thought I had plenty of time... Then, when I looked to confirm the start time, it said 8am... Uh oh! And this was at 7:12am!! Anyway, I had to sprint out the door. Thankfully, Kim was able clean up my breakfast... I made it just after the bell.

The somewhat good part? After all this rushing, I have the first period off! I could have taken my time after all. Oh well... I'm glad I am here. I have three Grade 11 and 12 classes. They should be easy to handle. I am going to imagine, too, that a bunch will probably just go home as they're only really work periods and I cannot teach them much... Physics, Calculous and Vectors as well as Advanced Functions are just too much for me!

As I said before, I hope to be around much more now... Despite only teaching Phys Ed. all last week, I never really received my breaks, as I was always asked to fill in another class.

Well, I think that was a long post. I hope you all had a great weekend. It's hard to believe that another Rudolph Day has arrived! Only 8 months to go until we reach the most Magical Day of the Year!

Good Morning, One and All!

We sail boldly into a new week, ready to face the new numbers and the gradually reduced remaining time until our eagerly anticipated and much coveted Christmas Season is once again upon us.

Days to the Season: 202
Days to Christmas Day: 244

And can that first number be correct? Will we really open the 200-day Season Window the DAY AFTER TOMORROW?
Will we truly arrive at the 1/3 Christmas Day marker TOMORROW??

These questions only have one answer, and that's YES!!


We had a coolish day here yesterday but it was sunny, calm and dry.
Today will see the start of a warming trend and we should be in the 80's for most if not all the remainder of the week.
(Now, let's not go to far too early, Mother Nature!)
Currently, we reside here in central NC at 60 degrees under calm and sunny skies.

Good morning MMC!! Happy Monday!!!! Hope you all had a great weekend! Yesterday the weather was just amazing!! I sat outside almost all day at the lake! Today is gorgeous too, but of course I'm stuck inside! We are supposed to hit almost 80º today!! Although it's only 63º in the office this morning. Brrrrrr! I have my space heater going!

It's not been heavy where I am. Always tend to mix in with rain so doesn't stick.
The cold temps and rain never ends. Gets milder in the summer (around 15C) but never as warm or hot as you guys.

Well I hope you guys get a mild summer then.

Gracie hasn't taken anymore spills in the middle of the night! LOL BUT this weekend she did get COVERED in cottonwood seeds! Those tree's are so messy! She went straight to the bath tub when we got home yesterday!

My youngest was with me today while I was shopping for makeup. I was testing various colours on my cheek/chin etc for the right shades. When I turned to my son, he had been copying me!!! There he was staring back at me with various colours of blush and foundation and eye shadow! He just had this perplexed serious expression that basically said I don't get what you see in this stuff mum ...

Too cute!!!!

We did grilled cheese with bacon for dinner tonight.

Good Saturday morning, my Christmas friends!

Nancy and I had a fun day in Savannah yesterday. Well, she did, anyway. I carried bags and smiled without grumbling too loudly. LOL

Today, Jacob has gone on a weekend class trip to Universal Studios in Orlando. He spent all day yesterday at Six Flags in Atlanta with his class. I have to say, the boy has a hard life.

We have a family reunion today (on Nancy's side), so that's my plan. No work on the Camaro today. Jim has gone to the mountains for the weekend. Why is everyone having so much fun, and I'm going to a family reunion?

Merry Saturday Christmas everyone. The wife and I got up this beautiful morning and went fishing. We caught about 25 fish (She caught the most). Grabbed ice cream on the way home and now we're making plans to go see The Huntsman, then out to dinner. Love spending the weekend with my best friend.

There was a bass tournament at our lake this weekend. WOW - those people in their expensive boats are CRAZY! LOL!

Proud father moment...
Henry (7yrs old) was playing Skylanders on the PS4. I was in another room painting miniature Civil War soldiers. Henry came in and asked if he could play on the Wii instead of the game he was playing. I said sure and went about my painting. About 10 minutes later I went into the living room. To my wonder and joy, Henry was playing the Christmas game on the Wii!!!! It is a funny little game that allows you to decorate a tree, roast marshmallows, listen to several Christmas songs, deliver presents and a few other things. It is a favorite at Christmas time for the whole house, but just like me, Henry cannot get enough Christmas!!!

And you should be proud!! Raising him right!

Wishing everyone a good start to the week. I have the day off after working this weekend. The store is busier and busier, I wonder how we make it through alive each weekend. I was so exhausted last night (as was hubby) that we fell asleep before the Game of Thrones season premiere. We were looking forward to it all day but just didn't make it. It's on dvr, I'm doing my best to stay away from spoilers. I have some errands to run and chores to do but right now I'm taking it easy. Procrastination (at home) is my middle name.
