Merry Friday Christmas!
The weekend is finally near. Just a few more hours to go.

Michelle and I are going to an Arts and Crafts festival tomorrow morning. She likes looking for unique jewelry and I like the food and the atmosphere. We especially like going to the festivals in the fall. Love those BER months.

Good morning everyone, Happy Friday!
Its another rainy and chilly day. I'm going to work on some chores around the house and then I'll run a few errands when the rain lets up. I decided to cook on Mothers Day instead of going out. We couldn't decide whether we should go out for brunch of dinner. Two of my girls are working, one has a morning shift and the other has an evening shift. So either way one of them wouldn't be able to go with us. I'll just stay home and cook both meals. My parents will join us for dinner. I plan on making a bolognese sauce for dinner. I have a great recipe, it's delicious! I'm going to finalize the menu plan today and make a grocery list. Anyway, not too much else going on here. Hope everyone is well and has a nice day!!!

We have a group text going around now - we are ordering pizza, smoking some chicken quarters, & sis's are bringing salad, snacks & I'm sure someone will bring dessert, eating on Moms deck Sunday!

Good morning, everyone!

It is another beautiful and sunny day in Canada's Capital. Temperatures are to reach about 22c/72f today. Yep. We'll be into the 20s/70s for the first time this year - I think. Usually we have at least about four or five warm days by the beginning of May... Not this year, however.

One more day of work and then the weekend. My first period is off today. Normally, I don't think I would like it too much, but it is a full day of teaching gym. Also, we'll most likely be outside every class enjoying the weather. You can't go wrong with that!

Well, I should probably go and prepare a few things for class. The weekend is nearly here. Have a great Friday, everyone!

Late start today because I was up past 9 last night. It was a long day yesterday ~ today should go by fast. I am cleaning/freshening the stock I pulled out of storage today and hopefully getting a pile of paperwork done.

I won't be able to pop again until sometime on Monday, so I wish all of you a safe and Merry Friday/weekend!!

Good Friday Morning MMC! TGIF! Just a quick hello before I post the count. It's miserable out here. It's pouring rain and in the 40s. Welcome to MAY! The last time that I have seen the sun in my area was Saturday. Now they're saying cloudy for Saturday here so I'm not even sure if we will see much sun tomorrow either. I'm looking for it though! We got a lot done yesterday so I'm hoping that I can leave on time today and go home to have a pizza burger and French fries. That's pretty good Friday food.

Across the nation Britons are waking up dazed and confused as they ponder weather forecasts with unusual double digit numbers as a mysterious phenomenon referred to as a Heatwave takes hold of the country.

Reports have come in about peculiar behaviour as people attempt to adapt to their environment by wearing footwear exposing their feet and face gear which shield their eyes from sunlight referred to as sun glasses. Men have been seen walking around their neighbourhoods shirtless and in shorts. Women have been seen in attire exposing both arms and legs identified by one witness as sun dresses.

this is turning into a not good week.

My friends in Fort McMurray are safe but so many have no where to go.

Yesterday morning a friend passed away very suddenly. She had a stroke several years ago and recovered from that then had some heart issues which she also recovered from. But yesterday morning had another massive stroke that she could not recover from. Pray for her husband and her family please.

Then got my van back from repair shop to find they did something to the brakes that are now alarmingly noisy, they were fine before taking van in. So I have to drop that off before work.

So off I go, being thankful for so much that I have been blessed with.

I read that you were making bologna sauce, and thought what is that?!? I still don't know what Bolognese sauce is, but I bet I would try it.

You're better off actually enjoying the day home. I think going out on Mother's Day the places are packed. I hate crowded places. We're taking our mom out on purpose a week from Monday instead. A lot less hassle!

You're right. My husband and I will be going out for dinner during the week to celebrate our anniversary, so I have that to look forward to.

It was in the upper 40's here this morning. I LOVE IT! It's supposed be in the low 90's again on Sunday, so I'll enjoy it while I can. All my office windows are open. Ahhh!

Good morning MMC! Merry Friday! Yippee!! I'm antsing to get out of here already & it's only 8:40! LOL Sun is shining, it's a beautiful day! Supposed to hit a high of 70º! Bring it on!!

We did go out for Mexican last night. The place was packed! I had a strawberry margarita, plenty of chips & salsa & then of course I couldn't eat all of my meal. So yummy! Our friends who we haven't seen for too long met us there! It was nice!

As soon as I get outa here at noon, I'm picking up Emma to bring her back to Amishville. My friend is riding along & we are going to hit the garden centers over there again. Such a beautiful day for that! Excited! When we get home, we'll be packing up & heading towards the lake for the weekend! Tomorrow is Derby Day & then the Cinco de Mayo party at our landing! Hoping the rain stays away!! Sunday is supposed to be very nice for Mothers Day! We are thinking about smoking some chicken quarters at Moms.
