Happy Mother's Day, my Christmas friends!

Bernie was feeling much better later yesterday morning, so I went to listen to Jacob's band play, then I came home and worked in the yard. I still have lots more to do, though.

Nancy's not feeling well this morning, but she's going to be a trooper, and she's getting ready for church. We have a full day with her, my mom and Mrs. Hilda, but it'll be fun!

I hope you moms out there, including the fur-mommies!, have a wonderful Mother's Day!!

Glad Bernie is feeling better!

And down the stretch comes "Next Milestone" and he's only 1 week away from the finish line. At which point, we will be HALF WAY BACK to our grand and glorious Christmas Season!
(Bet on it.)


Ah! Yesterday's warmth and dryness were a welcomed change from the weather we had in Asheville.
Today should show more of the same before it gets too warm later next week.
We show 65 degrees here right now, under sunny skies.

Good Sunday Morning MMC! Happy Mother's Day! Hope all the mom's will have a great day. I got my mom a gift certificate for her hair salon, an ice cream cake and we will be taking her to IHOP for brunch a week from Monday which I will be off. Looking forward to those 3 day weekends coming back. For today it is another rainy morning here. Shocking. This has been 8 days in a row basically where we haven't seen the sun BUT the weatherman said that we will see it this afternoon. I'll believe it when I see it.

Having a fine Sunday ... found some old Prairie Home Companion TV broadcasts from 1986 and 1987 that I remember, and it's a real nostalgia trip! Keeps me entertained while Mr. is working on some freelance work. And the phone repairman is working outside trying to get our dial tone back.

The weather's still cruddy, though---gray, chilly, and wet. Well, at least I can snuggle up, crochet, and enjoy some 30-year-old TV shows!

Hope everyone is having a great Sunday. Mine is low-key. I've gotten a few side things done this weekend that I've been meaning to for months so it's been productive. Got my car cleaned out today nicely. Winter does such a number to the inside of the car with all the salt etc...
