Thanks to everyone for the messages & prayers. Harlowe was happy to see her Grandma, my Mom came up to help me out. She took some of her evening dose of meds, we crushed them & put them in treats. She ate them when we saw her dog friends on a walk. Thank God.

Heading to Minneapolis tomorrow to get my car fixed.
Please pray that we make it there safely.
Mom is following behind me just in case.

When I saw that on the news, I thought of you and your family. I'm glad to hear that you're good, any praying for those that suffered losses.
 
Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

About ten minutes after I got home yesterday, I was called back to work to help the guys sort through some hardware. It didn't take long, then I was on the road to take Elizabeth to dance. While she drove, spent the whole trip on the phone, re-explaining the hardware issue to our vendor. Seems like work is never done.

A few minutes ago at the coffee pot, we were talking about a common friend who runs several small businesses, and now he wants my advice on running for county commissioner. He has two small children, and we were laughing that he has too much to do, as it is. Russell walked up and started talking about how life is too short do all that running around, and we should all stop to appreciate what we have.

A sobering reality-check from a man who understands that concept intimately. Thank you, Lord, for the gift of my family!

Happy belated Mother's Day to all the moms . Rough one for us as my father in law passed away yesterday after putting up a heck of a fight. It's an odd and sad feeling as my wife and I are quickly becoming the elders in the family.

Definitely have to enjoy each day and appreciate what we have instead of worrying about what we don't have.

What a busy Mother's Day we had! But I'm so thankful they are here for me spend time with!

It was super hot yesterday, sunny with a high in the mid 90's, and it's not supposed to be much better all week. Still, there's a season for all things, right?

Jacob graduates high school this Sunday. I don't want to think too much on that. I'm not ready for him to grow up and leave, but I guess it's soon upon me, eh? I remember I couldn't wait to go out and do my own thing. Now I see how hard it must have been on my parents. Shame on me! :D
