It is such a glorious day right now. I was so excited to see tulips in bloom in my neighbourhood this morning. Also someone down the street mowed their lawn and I could've just stayed there smelling the freshly-cut grass. One of my absolute favourite smells of the season. And I put my laundry out to dry, it's going to smell heavenly.

Weather man says we are supposed to hit 70º today, but chances of rain/storms later. The prediction for Saturday is a high of 56, low of 39 & rain!!That's like, move your plants inside overnight cold! Uggggh!

About ten minutes after I got home yesterday, I was called back to work to help the guys sort through some hardware. It didn't take long, then I was on the road to take Elizabeth to dance. While she drove, spent the whole trip on the phone, re-explaining the hardware issue to our vendor. Seems like work is never done.
A few minutes ago at the coffee pot, we were talking about a common friend who runs several small businesses, and now he wants my advice on running for county commissioner. He has two small children, and we were laughing that he has too much to do, as it is. Russell walked up and started talking about how life is too short do all that running around, and we should all stop to appreciate what we have.
A sobering reality-check from a man who understands that concept intimately. Thank you, Lord, for the gift of my family!

Hey MMC...I am logging on late today. My youngest daughter (same one that had the stomach bug over the weekend) started with a bladder infection last night so I got her into the Dr's this morning and she definitely has one so she is on medication. I am just catching up on work...so happy it is so nice out there today. Hope everyone enjoys their Tuesday!
I love laundry on the line!! I threw in a load at lunch, but it's raining so no hanging clothes outside today.
Our tulips are just about done for. There are still a few blooming, but most are spent! And I agree - love that fresh cut grass smell! Enjoy the beautiful weather!!! Have a great afternoon!

I wish I could sleep in on my days off but I fail almost every time. But the sun is out so it's nice being up early to get things done and then to get to enjoy the weather. Wishing everyone a nice Tuesday.

I am home, now. Car is fixed, thankfully. No issues on the drive, we just drove slow. Minneapolis is about 90 miles away from Eau Claire.
It was a "rocker arm oil pressure switch low voltage". The cars computer was showing that a few weeks ago, and we had it looked at but it registered as fine by the time the local Honda dealership got us in. They said if it came on again, that we'd have to have it fixed at an Acura dealership, and the White Bear Lake/Vadnais Heights (Minneapolis area) is the closest one.
I love my car, but I may trade it in. That's too far to travel for big repairs.
Harlowe is coughing a lot, unfortunately. Almost constantly.
So there is fluid build-up on her lungs again.
She wouldn't take meds this morning. I was able to get her antibiotic & furosemide in her just now. (Score!)
When I tried the Vetmedin, she ran & hid.
I am waiting to hear from her vet.
