Ever see a Muppet Family Christmas? It is more of a rare one but a really great one IMO. One of my favorites. It screams Christmas...great for kids and adults.
 
Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Hump Day and of course Pines Day! We made it to the middle of the week. Maybe I can start to dream of my 3 day weekend ahead today as I'm off next Monday to take my mom to brunch for a late Mother's Day celebration. It is gorgeous outside. I had to close my window last night cause it was really chilly in my room. Usually by now I'm getting ready to soon put the a/c up. Not this year at least not yet. Looks like we're going to have a warmer day today and pretty much perfect weather. Anyway as I stated today I start my 5th year at this job which blows my mind away because I remember my 1st day here 4 years ago today like it was yesterday.

Yeah when I had oral surgery a few years ago they told me I'd be in pain for at least a week. I went back the next day and felt fine but they kept asking me if I felt ok or wanted medicine etc. Glad my body reacted well to it and recovered quickly. Hope you continue to get better.

It is a murky morning with temps slightly above average in the mid 50sF.
My husband just texted me a photo of a homemade shortbread and duffin (donut muffin combination) that he found on his desk waiting for him. The ladies in his office spoil him rotten! :D He's taunting me as he knows how I love cake! :D

I have several things I need to get done as soon as I get visions of cake out of my head :) so I better get cracking. Have a lovely day everyone. See you all later at the Pines but until then make it a great day!

Days to the Season: 186
Days to Christmas Day: 228

Now, would you believe.........
that in just over HALF A WEEK, we will be crossing the divide and starting on the downhill side -- the SECOND half of our Season count.
(Woweezerinos!)



Well, we had another wonderful dry day yesterday with moderate temps. The only negative was the humidity, but it's only up slightly.
Today shows a better chance for rain.
We currently record 67.6 sunny degrees here on our digital back door thermometer.

(I'm looking forward to the 'Pines this evening since I missed last week's edition while on our Asheville trip.)


Speaking of trips, please stand by for another

As alluded to earlier this month, the Crowns have three trips to make in May.
The first was Asheville.
The second (the big one) starts early this Saturday morning and is our annual trip to Florida to visit relatives.
As a result, a BIG guest countdown opportunity awaits -- seven days of posting, starting this Saturday morning through the following Friday morning.

Anyone feeling bold enough to take on the challenge?
Or maybe share it with others?
