Maggie's still waking up at night, usually around 2:00am. She gets a drink and then I take her outside. She hasn't been going back to sleep right away so I usually end up on the couch with her. I don't want her coughing to wake my husband up. I'm exhausted, but hanging in there. Thank you for asking. I really appreciate the hugs & prayers <3

If Maggie didn't have access to water overnight, would she sleep through the night or be too restless? In any case, try and rest when you can and here's to Maggie having better nights.

A day at work where I had a TON to do, all of it was done with me clocking out just 6 minutes late. Busted my butt to get out on time, because it was Deadpool day!!! I had to pick up the blu ray, just loved that movie at the theater. JP had baseball practice this evening, run, run, run, that is life at this stage. We will be heading back to Mohegan Sun to cheer on the Black Wolves again on Monday night. It is game one of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Buffalo Bandits. The game on this past Friday night we got there early to watch practice when one of the Wolves, defenseman Brett Manney, tossed a lacrosse ball to each of my boys, needless to say, they were thrilled.

Day off tomorrow, not much planned, I may make a run to see if Hallmark has the Dream Books out yet. I hope you all had a terrific Tuesday.

Ooooh Deadpool is out? I didn't see it in theatres but I can't wait to see it on blu-ray. And go Black Wolves!

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Hump Day and of course Pines Day! We made it to the middle of the week. Maybe I can start to dream of my 3 day weekend ahead today as I'm off next Monday to take my mom to brunch for a late Mother's Day celebration. It is gorgeous outside. I had to close my window last night cause it was really chilly in my room. Usually by now I'm getting ready to soon put the a/c up. Not this year at least not yet. Looks like we're going to have a warmer day today and pretty much perfect weather. Anyway as I stated today I start my 5th year at this job which blows my mind away because I remember my 1st day here 4 years ago today like it was yesterday.

Congratulations on your 5 years at your job! May I ask what is your occupation? Judging by your posts, you seem to really enjoy what you do, that's great.

Wow 25 years is quite a feat! Next week it will be 18 years since I started working for the company I am with now. Time sure flies.

I have to head back to the mall today, I didn't get an outfit yesterday for the bridal shower that I have to attend this weekend. My daughter ended up coming with me and I couldn't concentrate. The shopping trip turned in to being all about her, lol. At least she got an outfit. I hope I find something today!
Today is also my wedding anniversary, 26 years. Time flies when you're having fun. I can't believe all of my girls are now older than I was when I met their father. I wish time would slow down. We'll be going out for dinner to celebrate.

I talked to Adrian, and he was able to give her the antibiotic and furosemide for her lungs. So I am very happy about that!
I really wish they made the Vetmedin smaller! And it's twice a day...she is still refusing that. I have a couple of things I'm going to try with it, but if it doesn't work then I need to see about another pill that's comparable. The unfortunate thing is that it's supposed to be the best on the market for CHF.
Adrian says she still coughing quite a bit, hopefully we can get consistent furosemide in her system, and she will get relief soon.

Happy to know that Harlowe is back on her medecine. What is your idea for getting her to take the Vetmedin again? I wish you luck.

She wanted 40.00 because she held onto the kitten until it was ready (her choice) then she wanted another 30.00 for handling..umm !!! So I barely held it under control on the phone with her...back to looking yet again. The 70.00 would have been okay if that included shots,fixed, etc.

Some people are just so cruel, anything to make a buck. Sorry about your misfortune.

Just saying hello and catching up before turning in for the night. It was a long day at work and it will be the same tomorrow, but then I have a three-day weekend. Something to get me through the day tomorrow.

I mashed the pill completely to a powder. I made a pork roast today, and cut some of that up, mixed in the Vetmedin powder & added au jus. I could only get her to eat a few bites. She's finicky & smart, bet she could still smell the Vetmedin.

I spoke to her vet and we are going to try a different heart medicine.
Vetmedin is still one of the best on the market, but since she stopped being consistent with it, it can't work its magic.
We will try a different/smaller heart pill that's just taken once a daY.
Vetmedin is so big, and needs to be taken twice per day. Cutting it up still results in 8 pieces. And she's also on a few other medicines. Getting her to take that many bites of pills twice a day is a big challenge. Especially for a dog who could care less about food.
She did good for 2 months, but just not having it anymore.
I was able to get her to take her antibiotic tonight, thankfully. It's tiny!

Happy Pines Night y'all! Just got back from yoga and am feeling extra relaxed. Carl actually showed up in class and tried to do some of it with me! He ended up struggling with the downward facing dog though..... :)

Good evening gang ... kids are tucked in bed but we did have a nice evening watching Santa Paws at the request of my son. After the movie my teenage daughter declared she was ready for Christmas :)

Got to admit I am ready for the CHristmas season too. Picked up a few gifts and a stocking stuffer this week and I am hoping to pick up a couple more stocking stuffers this week. This is going to be a long summer but the bright side is QVC CIJ is less than 2 months away :)
