Days to Christmas Day: 227

And regular readers of our little thread will be well aware of the identity of that pending marker. It's none other than the HALF WAY point to Christmas Season 2016. And it is now less than half a week away!
(The time. It's slipping away so fast. This is scary!)


The predicted rain yesterday never showed up, which was just fine with me.
Today has a dry prediction attached. But, since they were wrong about rain yesterday, perhaps they will be wrong about no rain today. We shall see.
This morning has commenced here at 68 degrees.
(And sure enough, it looks like rain!)

Morning definitely came too quick today! Enjoying my coffee while I make plans. It is going to be a warm, possibly stormy day. A major cool down is coming, though, so I intend to enjoy the warmth while I can.
Garden news: the peas are coming up as well as two rhubarb plants. Yay!

Hi everyone! It is so good to be on these forums again! Despite it being warm and summery over here, I just felt Christmas jitters again so I just had to come to pay a visit. I am happy to see that everyone is doing well.

Good Thursday Morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve! Another week is moving pretty quickly here. Another gorgeous morning here with sunshine and mid 50s. Not much better than that. My brother from San Diego text yesterday to say he'll be in town around June 6th-9th. After that he'll be back well...when we're a handful of days away from Christmas. Scary but it feels like he was just here this past December! Anyway, off to work I go and dreams of Friday are going to start pretty shortly.

Good morning everyone, Happy Thursday!
I'm just having my coffee and relaxing. My two oldest have off today and my youngest doesn't have to be at work until 12:00. It's so nice when they sleep in. I should have stayed in bed. I'm just working on a menu plan and grocery list for next week. I usually food shop on Saturday but I have the bridal shower, I'll probably go tomorrow to get it over with. I also have to stop at Rite Aid to pick up a prescription. Other than that I'll be working on the laundry. It's going to be a beautiful day, sunny with a high of 72 degrees. I'm going to take Maggie for a walk in her stroller in a little bit. That's about it for me. Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Hey friends! Husband left for Israel for a few weeks on Monday, so I've been busily preparing for him to go on that trip, watched my sister graduate from college on Saturday, and now am trying to keep things running at home while he's gone. I'm doing okay I suppose-I'm a little tired tonight but hoping a restful evening will help me recoup for the rest of the week. A little Christmas cheer is just what I need!
