Well, I never did have a chance to get caught up today...but now it's quitting time! Yippe! Time to get my girl, hang moms swing & plant flowers!!

It can taste great, but it doesn't usually agree with me!

I try to eat healthier in general, especially during the week. All bets are off on the weekend, that is my cheat time

Good Thursday Morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve! Another week is moving pretty quickly here. Another gorgeous morning here with sunshine and mid 50s. Not much better than that. My brother from San Diego text yesterday to say he'll be in town around June 6th-9th. After that he'll be back well...when we're a handful of days away from Christmas. Scary but it feels like he was just here this past December! Anyway, off to work I go and dreams of Friday are going to start pretty shortly.

the front door and the mail box are finally painted, something I have wanted to do since we moved in. Next is to wallpaper that one wall in the living room, another thing I wanted to get done some time ago.
We are in for thunderstorms later this evening. It is hot and muggy right now at 25c (73f...79 with humidity). It is nice to be outside doing things again.
I got caught up on the news here for the first time in ages. Things have been so busy since the move.
My new neighbour can be "trying" seems everytime I go out he cranks up his music and starts working on his pile of junk (he collects all the scrap metal and electronics folks throw out around here.) Never quiet about it either. At least he does not do it late in the evening. Maybe I should give him a Christmas music CD to play ?
Anyway, back to work for me, someone is coming over to measure the kitchen counter and I also have to bake 4 dozen chocolate chip cookies.

My tastes have definitely changed as I've gotten older. Unhealthy stuff doesn't taste as good to me as it used to when I was in my teens and 20s.

I love me some KFC. But I haven't had Taco Bell in years either.
Doesn't even sound good.

The last time I had KFC was like 3 years ago and it tasted great but I felt sick after. I never was into taco bell. I do love Wendys though but eat it only maybe 3-4 times a year.

Agreed! The things that I cheat on with over the weekend are things that are actually not too bad for me, and they typically are smaller portions. It just feels like indulging!
