Good Pinesday morning, my Christmas friends!

First, I'd like to ask for extra prayers this morning for my friend and boss, Russell. He's gone to a meeting with another doctor for a second opinion on his ALS diagnosis. Please remember him in your thoughts & prayers today.

We've been so preoccupied with Jacob's graduation that I feel Like Elizabeth was sort of left behind. We had honors night for her grade last night, and she got several awards, including honor roll, and the subject award for biology! What a smart girl I have!

Good Wednesday Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day! Had a rough day with Nitro yesterday who went to the Dr. to get checked on and renew his prescription. Seems like every time he goes to the Dr. he winds up in worse condition than when he arrives. He had a seizure as soon as he got there and his lungs filled up with water. My brother had taken him but I guess it was bad enough where they weren't sure if he was gonna make it (you can imagine how I felt getting that text at work). He does have seizures sometimes (maybe 1 every couple of months) but magically as he goes to the Dr. he gets upset I guess and it causes him to have a bad reaction. Anyway, they found some loose skin on the inside of his throat that they said he does not need and is blocking his airways some. He was on a breathing tube yesterday afternoon. They did a surgery to remove the skin blocking his throat and called last night to let us know that he was off the tube, breathing on his own (not perfect but they said far better than he was during the day) and his lungs that were 70% filled with water now most of that was gone and they hoped that the rest would go away as he continued breathing on his own. Not sure what kind of update we'll get this morning but it is pretty scary.
Other than that, I'm just going to work and hope you all have a good Wednesday. See you at the Pines!

Oh no! Poor Nitro! He must get really worked up, going to the vet. Poor guy! I hope you get all good reports on Nitro today & he is back home with you in no time! It has to be hard to be at work today! Sending thoughts & prayers & hugs from Gracie!!

Good Morning everyone. Yet again I am filling in for the great Crown. With that said let's take a look at the numbers below:

Days to the Season: 179
Days to Christmas Day: 221

Look at that! Exactly 3 weeks from today we hit the big 200 and then head into a double 1s count. How could Christmas be so close? The magic of MMC of course.

Carl says in Crown's absence he has a special surprise for us since we are now heading "downhill" in our season count. I'm not sure what he is putting in that coffee but I do not want to be the first to try it. Any volunteers?

Happy Hump Day!! I woke up feeling like I am getting a cold. Yesterday I started with a little scratchy throat but today I feel a bit achey too...ugh! I am going to eat a little something for breakfast and then pop some advil. Just working today and I have to take my daughter to a soccer tryout tonight. I hope you all have a great day!

He said his friend had taken him off his leash to play with him & the dog took off. They have an underground electric fence but it was torn while they were doing some remodeling & they need to fix that. He said his friend felt really bad. Hopefully the dog stays safe now!

Happy Pines Day!
It's going to be mostly cloudy with the chance of a shower her on the south shore of the island. Highs near 67 degrees. I'm hoping for some breaks of sunshine! Not too much going on here today. I have a pot of sauce simmering on the stove. I have to make meatballs as soon as I finish my cup of coffee. I'm going to make stuffed shells for dinner, haven't made them in quite some time. I also have to buy a new hairdryer, the one we have is making a funny noise. It's making me nervous, lol. I just got it not that long ago, they don't last long in my house. Other than that I will be working on my daily chores. Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Har is doing pretty well, thanks. She is taking her meds, and eating good at night.
She doesn't seem to have as much energy, but that I kind of expected.
Hope that changes, but I'm happy she's doing everything she needs to be <3
