Lol..so much AC Moore drama!! They only allow coupons to be used if a item isnt on sale. If you visit the stores notice how 90% of the items are on sale. They will even put something on sale for .50 cents off. I only use coupons on balsa wood or model kits, stuff they cant put on sale. I have to buy the item..walk out the front door..come back in..rinse and repeat. Today I saved 11.00 a item by doing this..so yeah I will make the extra small walk..lol
Not only did you save money, but you got your exercise in today also.

Good Thursday Morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve! The Dr. called last night and talked to my brother and I. At first it sounded like they wanted to transport him to the city because they have a breathing machine (only if he needs it) that would be better than the breathing tube they have here. Then they said to wait another day and let's see how he does today. They will take xrays today and see if the 70% that went to 30% went down at all or not. I really don't know how I feel...like I feel hopeful one moment then the next I feel almost hopeless. But I think the truth is it's 50/50. I just don't want him to go through too much trauma and everything but I want to give him the best chance to recover too. The expenses are crazy but luckily I have 2 family members who will help me split the bill. I already thought about cancelling my class for the fall to help pay for it too. He's more important to me than school.
I hope you all have a great Friday Eve!
Thinking of you and Nitro...I hope he is better today! (((HUGS)))

Merry Friday Eve..still not feeling 100% today. I definitely have a cold going on, luckily we should have a pretty quiet weekend. Just working today and catching up on laundry tonight. Hope you all have a great day!

That's great!
A few times Mr. and I have been mistaken for brother and sister---we're obviously too comfortable with each other to be married!

Once we worked in different parts of the same building, but would meet at Mr.'s desk to go have lunch together. We later heard that the guy next to Mr. said to someone, "Gee, they make a great couple---but isn't he married?"

[*Only since you ask (I'm a professional proofreader/copy editor, but I don't call out spelling/punctuation/grammar/clarity unless asked---or unless the typo is really funny :D): Spelling is fine, but no apostrophe, 'cause it's a plural, not a possessive.]
Too funny about the coworker. :)
And yes, I get to typing to fast and make all kinds of errors and leave words out. In my department at work there is a group of us that occasionally write service bulletins and recalls and I have to proof read them all and point out the mistakes. But you couldn't tell that by the way write (type).

Thank you!
Wow, what a picture! It's enormous---several times bigger than my cactus! I like the plant stand arrangement. If I'd had one of those, I wouldn't have felt like I needed to trim my back so much. Mine is on a lamp table, and the branches were drooping down onto the table.

I must try starting cut pieces in a jar of water. The ones I've done, I just planted the cut pieces. Four took root, and two didn't. The jar of water sounds ideal because you can make sure there are roots there before you plant them. I have a plastic bag full of cut pieces from trimming back my cactus, and they still look fresh---I should put a few in water. Maybe they'll put out roots yet!
My Dad made that stand for my Grandma's scanner. After Grandma passed I inherited that stand, which I guess I have now turned into a Christmas cactus stand! ;) I put it there "temporarily" but I think it's happy there now!
I hope those cuttings will root for you!! Great idea to try! :) I didn't even know you could root them until I saw what Jackie had done!

Mixed report...my brother saw him said he looked kind of out of it but was still responsive to him knew he was there. Dr. said 70% water in his lungs is down to 30% but she was concerned because he's still breathing heavy because of the water in his lungs (yet supposedly his breathing is what's making the water go down) so I guess it's a catch 22. They could put him back on a breathing tube/machine if we wanted but I think they'd rather not because it's almost like a step backwards. He's been breathing for 24 hours on his own (even though it's been a bit more heavy than normal). I don't know what to think at this point. Just hoping for the best.

Awesome! Hobby Lobby & Joann's do the same thing. 50% off one REGULAR priced item & it's hard to find a regular priced item!

Happy Friday Eve, Holiday!!
Glad to hear it, hope you can enjoy it on your lunch break!
Have a fabulous day! :D
Planning to take my girl for a stroll around town during lunch! It will be hard to come back to work ~ again!

Speaking of Hobby Lobby. Michelle and I stopped by there last night and there were no Christmas items on the shelf. YET!
But! If you look at the picture below, they have put out a lot more peach baskets for temporary storage of Christmas items. And they have started clearing shelves to make room for ornaments. I'm guessing by this Saturday or early next week, they will start filling those baskets as well as some of the shelving.
I can't wait! :)

Pretty much the same on Nitro...sounds like his breathing isn't worse or better than yesterday really. He's still in an oxygen tank breathing on his own without a tube. But they're concerned due to his heavy breathing about taking an x-ray. Unfortunately the Dr. from last night isn't in. She was the main one my brother wanted to talk to. He's gonna check up on him later to see how he looks and talk to someone further.

Say, when you're typing on your own time and not being paid for it, why proofread? :D
(I keep a close watch on my posts, though, only because I have my eagle-eye reputation to consider.)
