Appreciate it festive. Nitro brought us a million times more joy as much as the sadness of yesterday caused...so to honor him we're going to try to have a little fun this weekend. Pizza sounds like one of our top options for tonight actually! Good call.

I have the day off before working this weekend. We'll be heading over to my in-laws this morning as they need my husband's help with some landscaping. His mother grows everything from a bonzai tree in their house to tomatoes to roses. Hoping it will be warm enough to sit outside when we get there.

We have some big pitches and campaigns coming up ... I'm hoping they don't call for holiday weekend work, but one of the pitches is being presented the day after Memorial Day, so I should prepare to be disappointed.

That is a fantastic idea! I admire your outlook and strength so much. I agree. Nitro's time on earth deserves celebration with fun and laughter. Pizza is a great idea but you got to have something with peanut butter! Nitro's favourite!

Uh huh and I'm glad I gave him a special peanut butter treat last Friday. His favorite!

Good Friday Morning MMC! TGIF! Again thanks to everyone for their nice words. I was going to reply to each of you but I found myself getting upset as I was quoting your messages (because they were so nice and made me think of him and the day I had yesterday). It was one of the hardest days I've had in years. I joked to my brother I wonder if my grandmother would be pissed that I cried more when my dog passed away then her (half-joking/half serious). Anyway, again thanks to everyone. I slept ok and I'm trying to be as positive as I can be about this. Nitro made me a better person. I did my best to give him the best life I could. Some day when the time is right I will no doubt find a dog hopefully as special as Nitro is/was/will always be and will do my best to do the same again.
