It's part of what happens in this business, though. When a client wants something, or new business beckons, you jump. In all fairness, I know my supervisor will do what's possible to keep that holiday weekend clear, but it just may not be possible.

Anyway, the heck with that just now---this weekend comes first, and Friday is about half over!

I hope your memorial day weekend is free Merry. Fingers crossed for you. It will be a three day weekend here too .

Hi Christmas friends! I hope you all have had a good week and will have a good weekend! I've had a busy week and some piddly errands I don't want to run this afternoon, but I'm happily getting dinner with friends tonight and will go to a wedding with my wonderful husband tomorrow before working Sunday morning! The sun is out just for a brief moment! The weekend will be full of rain and next week will be HOT here! WHEW. Feeling more and more like Christmas in July each day.

PTL, school's out for summer! DD's awards day was yesterday and we could take her home afterward. Today was an "Independent Study Day", which meant she didn't have to go to school today. She's at my parent's house with her cousins today, so I'm sure there's lots of "studying" going on. We just go back on Tuesday morning to get her grade card. I had a "happy fit" last night because school was over and DH & DD both looked at my like I was crazy. I just hate school so much, but DD still loves it. Look out sixth grade, here we come...

Hey Brad, thought you should know Nitro passed away yesterday

By the way, my brother just told me today (which he never told me when we got him) that they didn't know if Nitro would survive as an infant because he had infections. Guess my brother was hopeful when he got him that he'd be ok...he overcame a lot in his life even from birth!

Boy, do I feel stupid now. That's what I get for not taking the time to read back before I post.

Edge, I hope you don't think I was being insensitive. I know just how much of a best friend a dog can be. I'm so sorry for your loss, my friend, but I know you'll see Nitro again.
