I have the day off and it's going to be full sun and warm again today yay! Going to the park to walk Loki in a bit. Then will do some laundry and hang it out to dry outside. But first will try and get some grease stains out of two of my capri pants. And of course as on any day off I'll have tons of errands to run but it will be made more enjoyable with the great weather.

Hello christmas friends

Nope..thats why I was off most of Jan. And Feb. had to burn up my PTO,vacation, and sick days. The year starts over on your hire date. But..because I am salary I restart maxed on everything.

Mine is just a running balance, you accrue every 2 weeks certain amount of hours and cap at 150...so always keep it just below that amount and you never lose any.

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! Happy 7 months till Christmas Eve! Unbelievable another month closer to the most magical day of the year. Makes me smile thinking about it. My company is not the type to close early before a holiday therefore my coworker and I (since my other 2 coworkers are already off on Friday) are planning on asking our boss if it's ok if we make up a couple hours of time to finish our work up if we can leave at 2PM on Friday. I am pretty sure she'll say yes...it would just be really nice to get out early before a long holiday weekend.
Anyway, I hope you all are well and have a great 2nd day to your week. How is it possible Christmas Eve was 5 months ago??????

I'll be working Christmas Eve and Day for half of the days each. I will be taking some more time off because of that the week after! It's great to be thinking about that though! Next month we'll be halfway...that's just crazy talk!

And the above-mentioned nearness to the two week mark refers to our distance from the 200-day Christmas Day Milestone and the beginning of a double-100's count.
(Time's they are a slippin' away!)


A rather chilly and damp day yesterday with the high never getting past the mid 60's. Plenty of clouds and rain threats but none fell.
Now today promises to be much warmer and more sunny with virtually no chance of precipitation. (I'll get that needed mowing done!)
Currently, we see 58 degrees here in central North Carolina under brightly sunny skies.

It is crazy talk. Each month goes by faster than the previous. Someone needs to change that pattern when we hit the Bers.
