October chill I think we're finally done with here (maybe till October haha). But we'll see. The warmth is coming today through the weekend with highs into the 80s!
That is good! You will really appreciate it when the fall weather moves in. Makes it even more special. It is so cold today here. Everyone on I encounter seems to coming down with something. The change between cold to warm is to inconsistent. I want it back in the 60s again :) Fingers crossed.

I love the summer weather (as long as I can sleep with a/c when needed). I love the warmth and those nights where you go outside in shorts and there's a slight breeze to make it comfortable with the sun down. By August though I definitely am starting to look forward to the autumn weather.

That's great news Edge!

I remember those long waits for warmer weather when I lived further north. No fun.

Me too Edge! I relish warm summer days in the 60s (the odd 70s if we are lucky). I love going to sleep with the windows open and summer breeze fluttering through the curtains or sitting out in the garden with bare feet :) Houses here don't have A/C

We don't get to the 80s here so I can appreciate it can get too warm for you guys sometimes.

I love warm summer evenings and am always tempted to leave the windows open when I got to bed. Sadly, the mosquitoes always make me change my mind. :D

We are doing pretty well, thanks.
Staying busy with work and house prep.
Har is doing good on her meds! But she is coughing more lately. The humidity may play a part. I have a call in to her vet to see what she recommends.

How are you guys?
Hope Har's cough is better. My youngest struggled most of the night with coughing too. I have kept him off Nursery today as he is still coughing.

Wow only a few weeks till the big move! Bet you can't wait to get it over with so can settle in your new home.

ouch ouch. No mosquitoes here but when we were in the Caribbean they were awful!!
That's really lucky, then! I have a love-hate relationship with them. They seem to love me and I really hate them.

Good Morning, MMC Members Extraordinaire.

And let me tell you, the looming proximity of our next Milestone Marker is extraordinary indeed!

Days to the Season: 172
Days to Christmas Day: 214

And, as is foretold by the second number above, we are precisely TWO weeks away from the grand opening of the 200-day Christmas Day Window and the launch of a double-100's count sequence, signalling the beginning of the fast track to our Holiday of choice.
(Oh, Joy! Oh, Rapture!)

As predicted by the weather service, yesterday was sunny and dry and yes, I DID get that lawn mowed!
More of the same today only warmer, as we move ever closer towards the inevitable heat and humidity.
Currently, our back door thermometer tells us it is 64 degrees outside.

Well, it is mid week and we all know what THAT means!
So does Carl, and he's ready and waiting with......well......who knows what.
But, like every Wednesday, the mysterious 'Pines activities director and his fascinating plans beckon us to the door.
Will you join me there this evening?

Until then, you all -- each and every one -- have a Wonderful Wednesday!

Good morning all my Christmas loving friends !

I called in sick today, allergies or cold not sure which but feel clogged up and just plain yucky. Don't have to be in again until 12:15 on Friday so lots of time to get better. The students are back so we end up with less hours which really sucks. Nothing can be done about it because they just remind us that we were never promised any set number of hours a week.
Oh well, more time to work in the garden !

Hope you all have a fantastic day !
