Merry Morning,

It's going to be in the 60s today! Welcome summer

Up way to early on a Saturday morning but such is the life with young children
We had a nice Friday evening. We watched Everest. Amazing true story.

I'm preparing the house for a viewing at midday. I would have preferred to kick of the weekend with a lazy morning. Thinking about taking the children to the nature park while they show the house. The squirrels are so tame there, they eat out of your hands

Hope to resume lazy time on the sofa before work tomorrow for me Other than that we will play some board games, watch a couple movies and I am making roast chicken with roasted potatoes and summer vegtables for dinner.

It was so sticky and hot again today that we put in the window air conditioner right after breakfast. Now it's so c-o-o-l and comfortable! Hate the electric bills that come with it, but it's better than feeling overheated.

I'm off to a late start today. I was up most of the night with my sweet girl. As I suspected, she hasn't gotten rid of her infection or there's something else going on. I did call the vet today, and of course neither of her docs (primary or secondary) were there today. However, I did press for the vet on duty to look at her file. She did agree to fill her antibiotics again for half of a prescription, so we had to go pick that up. Hopefully she'll at least be comfortable for the weekend. Still needs to go out every two hours, poor girl.
Anyways, I'm finally having some breakfast & a some coffee before getting back to packing.

Oh no Stacey. I am so sorry to hear this. I thought Har was doing well these days. I can't believe she has another infection. Such a relief you got the vet to take a look and give you some antibiotics. I hope she will be comfortable for the long weekend and you can have a break too!! Good thing you are off to look after her. Prayers for you guys. enjoy your time off. Thinking of you guys.

I have had the same situation as you Merry the last couple of nights. I have a box fan (that's powerful) and put it right on me. It actually made me feel mostly pretty comfortable despite my room reading 86 degrees last night! But I sleep in an upstairs room...downstairs it's not as warm. A/C is going up today!

Enjoy your A/C after it's in! We're enjoying ours right now!
(Then next week at the office I'll be freezing again!)

Sorry to hear she's feeling ill snow. Hopefully the meds will keep her comfortable. It's hard to watch them being ill you feel so helpless at times. Fingers crossed she's on the mend soon.

We are all doing well and enjoying the beautiful weather outdoors. My wife and I have started our plans for out Christmas In July weekend. Mary is now sleeping through the night, which means Trina is sleeping through the night.

Not seen you around for a while . Glad to hear the girls are sleeping better now. Have fun planning for CIJ!

Thanks it was worth the work. It's up and running nice and cool here. Yeah our office too they will be cranking it so high I have to keep my hoodie in the office all summer.

Glad your A/C is up and you are comfortable in the heat. Warm nights can be so uncomfortable. I understand about the bills. Here is the opposite though as we need heat so of course fuel bills are exorbitant but what can you do!

We made it to the nature park and it was a gorgeous day out. I will post a couple pics when I get the chance. I need to upload them from my camera onto the PC.
We just had a delicious roast chicken dinner and we are relaxing together. It has been a really lovely day and I so needed it. The outing to the park was just the thing to recharge mind and spirit.

Smart HMG. But since my brother and I are too stubborn we'll probably wind up keeping the BBQ for Monday...and wind up getting wet lol.

I'm glad I got the food shopping over with. I do not like fighting my way through the supermarket. Still hoping Monday's weather changes for the better!

Good morning everyone! The school year is over! Yesterday was the last exam day and then the teachers had to stay until 8 to clean and finish up grades. It is strange, it really does not feel like the school year is done. But, I will take it. We leave for vacation on Tuesday. I will take about a month and not think much about school. Then I will start planning and updating lessons and getting ready for next year.

Finally it's the weekend and it's going to be a gorgeous day today. Already took Loki for a walk at the park. Will be having breakfast with some friends. And then we're going to the market to pick flowers and decorate our balcony. They announce rain tomorrow so we plan to take full advantage of this day.

home from work already, coughing too much. Big problem for me is neighbours are heavy smokers and smoke in their unit, constantly and it leaks into mine. Looking into options since talking to them is not working. Maybe I should make them pay wages for days of worked missed because of my allergies.
But other than that it is a wonderful but hot day with a special weather statement about the heat and bad air. Going up to 32c (89f) but with humidity will feel like 38c (100f)
Now off to do the laundry
