Yes, we are now down to single digits in our countdown to 200 days till Christmas day !!!!
This will give all you wonderful folks in the States another thing to celebrate on this memorial day.

Good evening,

I am finally caught up, again.
We had a long day here, errands in the morning, yardwork, and grilling in the afternoon and evening. It was the first time we fired up the grill this year, sirloin steaks and chicken. It was quite tasty!
I also put in our second AC this morning, it is probably the earliest I have ever put it in. Last year it wasn't until July when I put it in. The cool down will be here tomorrow, only suppose to be 70f.
Back to work in the morning, at least it is time and a half.
Snowflake22- I have Har in my thoughts, I hope the meds are working.

Merry Monday everyone. Today we remember those in the US Armed Forces who gave their lives to protect our country. God bless them and their families.

Today Michelle and I are heading to Atlanta for the day after the kids leave for Indiana. We want to get away for a day before I return to work tomorrow.

Have a blessed day and I will see you all tonight. :)

Happy Memorial Day all!!! Kinda slow going since I got called into work last night. (They had to come pick me up) --lol. We had real bad storms most of the night, plus I got 2 extra paid days off for going into work. Local parade starts in a few hours and I am pulling the local Recruiters float.

It is a holiday here today and we are also off for the rest of the week. First vacation time together for the year!

It was busy in the city yesterday. The weather was hot and sunny and with it being a holiday weekend everyone was out and about. They were also promoting horse safety yesterday near my work. Reminding drivers of the safe protocol for driving alongside horses/riders. It's taught when learning to drive but some seems to forget once they get a license. I am pleased they are doing this as there has been too many accidents where horses/riders are injured or worse. Horses are nervous at incoming traffic and can't always control their anxiety. They are such beautiful, gentle creatures.

Sorry for rambling on :D Time for another cup of tea...

Good Monday Morning MMC! Happy Memorial Day! It's a rainy start here but the local weatherman says it will clear up by this afternoon (as in at least stop raining). I hope so because we're having our bbq. Today is such a big marker day to me as it represents the beginning of the summer and the long road through the next 3 months which leads us to the Bers. Unbelievable that we're already heading towards June this week. Just gonna try to spend time with the family today, be thankful for those who served, have a good bbq and enjoy the day off work.

(I get another day off!)
And also thank you for the Saturday and Sunday morning posts!!

It's good to be back.
Everything is in good shape at the cottage. I will likely go back for just one day the week after next for a final check before our first renters arrive on June 12.
