Have a wonderful evening MMC! I probably won't be here tomorrow b/c of the funeral, so you all have a Merry Pines Day & a Merrier Friday Eve!!! I'll try to swing by the Pines tonight! :D
Thinking of you today, Holiday!

Thanks everyone <3
My appointment went well, I really like the new neurologist. She thinks all of my symptoms are just migraine related. I'm going to start a new preventative medicine that is taken daily, hopefully it will help lessen the amount and severity of the migraines. Fingers crossed!
Thanks for the happy birthday wishes for my father, we had fun celebrating!
Hope everyone had a great day!
Sounds like the appt went well. I hope the preventative medicine helps. Have a great Thursday!

Good Morning, friends~
Merry Friday Eve!
We had gorgeous Fall like weather yesterday, after a storm blew a cold front in. It was wonderful to be able to turn off the AC for a day, and let the fresh air in.
Wishing you a blessed and beautiful day!

Had a nice rain go through last night and all is fresh and clean this morning.
Off to work in a bit. Need to also finish Little CS's dress after I get home.

Praying you all have a great day !!
Have a good day, Star!

Good Thursday Morning MMC! It definitely keeps feeling like we're a day ahead this week. Gotta love the holidays! A beautiful morning out here and not as humid the last day or 2. Looks like we could see some pretty good rains here on Sunday. Had a slice of pizza on Tuesday for lunch and a slice of pizza on Wednesday for dinner. No pizza today but it should be a good day and then I'm going to watch the NBA finals tonight.
Have a great Thursday everyone!
Have a good day Edge!

Good morning all!
I have a busy day at work today but will check in (or try to catch up) when I can.
Tonight, Michelle will be co-starring in a commercial for an event that I am helping organize. Should be a lot of fun. I get to be a junior director. :D

It's going to be hot and sticky here today (93F), so I will be staying inside with the A/C cranking.
Have a blessed day my Christmas friends!!! +i

Happy Friday Eve SFM!!!

Good Evening,

It was a pretty relaxing day, as I said earlier I watched Krampus, and loved it. After I saw it I went out to return it to the Redbox and decided to stop at the DVD trading store to see if they had a copy for sale. No luck today. I went to Goodwill just to kill some time and I came across what may be the "Holy Grail" of Christmas CD's. "Reader's Digest Christmas Through The Years" it is a rare CD and it sells for well over $100 on eBay. I have wanted it for a while now, and it is now mine and I only paid $1 for it. It is in great shape, just some surface scratches on the front of the case.

Wow, that's a rare CD set now? Great find!
I've had it for years---I probably got it on closeout somewhere. It's very enjoyable, because of the variety of music (everything from choirs to Spike Jones) and because the songs are often sung by different artists than the ones we associate with them.

I wish there was an easy way to move the recordings to another hard drive. But... that would also be illegal. Oh well. I'll enjoy them as long as I can then delete when I have to. :)
What you need is a DVD recorder with a hard drive ... they're getting very scarce, though.

What fun at the 'Pines last night! I didn't know Carl could do a cannonball!
(Of course, the pool had to be refilled afterwards.)
I didn't know, either ... so I had to towel off before I left, and run the clothes dryer before I went to bed! If he's going to do that again, he should blow a siren so we can get clear! :)

Nostalgia attack! The county where I grew up depended largely on volunteer municipal fire companies, and they raised funds by having a week-long carnival each year. From early June throughout July, some town is having a carnival. My town had theirs the week of July Fourth---with fireworks on the Fourth, of course. I'd go to the carnival every night of that week unless it poured rain! I miss the excitement and fun of doing that. They'll have a GREAT time!

You know I never had a DVD recorder. Are they any good? Most of the reviews I used to read didn't say they were in the USA.
We've had a couple. They worked great for us. We would record onto the hard drive, edit out the commercials (yes, you could do that!), and burn the material onto DVDs. Alternatively, you could record directly onto a DVD. The recorder could do it all! We still have one in working order, and it'll be a sad day when it finally dies.
