That is so true!
When I was a little boy, mom and dad would decorate the whole house. Then after everyone was in bed, my brother (2 years younger) and I would sneak out to the living room and plug in the tree and just stare up at it. It was pure magic to us. We did it every year for several years. That's a memory I will never forget.

It is awesome no doubt as a kid...magical. And I hope we all can relive that magic this coming Christmas season.

Happy Thursday everyone!
I've been on the run all or morning. Maggie had a groomer appointment and I ran a few errands as well. I'm having a bite to eat now and I'm going to start working on the laundry. I'm heading back out this afternoon to go dress shopping, my nephew is getting married next month. It will be here before we know it and the girls and I have not found dresses yet.

It is just me, or does everyone else have dreams of going into stores and being so excited to see Christmas decorations everywhere? I would like to think I have had about four dreams of such this year.

I was super excited in my dream last night. The setting was probably September. I walked into a store and found Christmas everywhere. I was so excited... Then, my cat began to nudge me with his head because he wanted me to pet him at 5 AM. Although I do enjoy petting Simon, I do not appreciate being awoken at that house. Plus, I don't like the fact that he ruined my wonderful dream.

With that said, I think it is time to visit Tinseltown, Ottawa's year-round Christmas store, shortly!

I didn't know Ottawa had a year-round Christmas store. Been to one in Montréal, Québec city, Mont Tremblant and Banff. I can't believe I never thought to look one up in Ottawa and I've been quite a few times too.

So, so cute! I'm sure she'll feel much better in the heat. We're thinking of having Loki groomed again even though it was done fairly recently. His hair grows out so fast and he is already getting hot when outside, it might do him some good.

Can I just say that I am really glad that this day is over and that I have tomorrow off? I am totally beat. Good night everyone.

It was funny, I was questioning why I should even go into Goodwill yesterday, just a lucky break.

Wow, that's a rare CD set now? Great find!
I've had it for years---I probably got it on closeout somewhere. It's very enjoyable, because of the variety of music (everything from choirs to Spike Jones) and because the songs are often sung by different artists than the ones we associate with them.

I just copied it onto my computer, and from what I heard it sounds great.

It gets later and later without me realizing. I was copying CD's into my computer, and poof it is after midnight! Just never enough time in a day to get everything done. We did our grocery shopping tonight after dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings. I picked up a copy of Krampus, so I am happy about that.
Yesterday (June 1) was the 5th anniversary of the tornado that came through our town. I can't believe it has already been 5 years, it still seems so fresh in my mind.
I hope you all had a good Thursday.
