Yeah makes me sad that I am allergic to cats and pretty much any furry friend. I wasn't allergic at all until about age 8, we even had a cat when I was little. Luckily there are a few dog breeds that I am not allergic to, so we could get Loki. And regarding my husband, he did mention totally out of the blue how he would like to get a good massage with me at a spa. I've never been to a spa so I'm doing some research online.

I have spent almost the entire day on the front and back gardens. I have encountered every bug and insect there is! My gardens seem to be a prime spot for spiders too. Just came face to face with two tiger coloured ones on a web! Eeek! The amount of spider web is unreal. The wasps and bees were the worst though!

The thunderstorms they predicted yesterday and today haven't hit. There is a warning /advisory for torrential rain and hail. We know it's going to be rough when it hits Eeek :D

I don't know how you work on your garden knowing there are spiders! I have a deep fear of spiders. My husband once convinced me to watch Arachnaphobia. Not fun spending the whole movie squirming with my eyes closed almost the entire time. And at work there was once a HUGE dead spider in a box of merchandise. Needless to say that I was NOT the manager to take care of it.
 
I'm looking up ideas for ice cream sandwiches. We're having a sale at work this weekend and I'd rather make them than buy them. But the temps are really cooling down so I don't know how much of a success this will be. I figure we work so hard and are so busy that people will still want the sugar rush to get through the day.

Hope you are able to find a yummy recipe & they are a big success! :) I should make some things for a bake sale this weekend too. I nearly forgot. o_O

I took an allergy tab at seven last night and I am just now starting to feel awake. It has been a long, long morning! Dreary day, but supposed to clear up later. Cooler temperatures are nice! Work projects the rest of the day will keep me busy.

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's been another busy morning, but I'm starting to catch up.

Vacation Bible School started yesterday, and it rained all day, so we had 25 little ones all inside at the same time. Whew! But we survived, so we'll do it again tonight!

Nancy didn't really get to enjoy her birthday, though. The kids & I got her a couple presents, and Elizabeth baked her some cupcakes. They were good, too! Red velvet with cream cheese icing. I enjoyed Nancy's birthday, anyway! ;)

Do you have the chocolate wafer cookies where you are? I bet they would make good ice cream sandwiches.

We reached 79 today with a real feel of 80!!!!!!!!!!

I was soaked to the bone in perspiration while working on the garden today. I had to take mini breaks. :p:confused::D But I'm coping like a champ. You warm weather aficionados would be proud :D

Thunderstorms/torrential rain and hail warnings are out though. Expecting 44mm rain to fall within couple of hours.

Yikes! I would say stay away from that film if you are fearful of spiders!
I am not really scared of bugs/insects/spiders etc but at the same time I do not want them on me or near me. LOL

eeek that must have been scary for you!
