Have a great Friday...sounds like your Mom found you some great stuff! Don't worry about the house it will all work out. We went through something similar when we built our house...we were delayed 6 weeks and almost lost our rate but they were somehow able to extend it and our builder pushed to get it done. It is so nerve wracking! Sending hugs!

We have to be out of our twin home rental by the end of June, and our builder said they'd still let us move in before closing, I just need to make sure that they keep their insurance and we are covered. It is just so frustrating since they're the ones that pushed for the closing early, when I wrote the offer I suggested August and they moved it up to this date. Just two days ago I was asking them if we were on time and they assured me that they were. I had to find out from my landscaper yesterday that they weren't going to get it finished before the appraisal, which per contract it has to be. I am still trying to work my magic! Thanks again for the hugs, your experience at least gives me more hope!

Closings are such a stressful time. Our present house honestly took 10 hours in the lawyers office. Sellers had signed papers wrong and had moved 3 states away..and the morning of the closing they informed me they had made a mistake in closing costs and it was an additional 2500.00 they had forgot to include. I was like phhtt!!! Last house I ever buy...lol

I had one a few years ago. Mostly I stick to the iced coffees.

Dont you find their iced coffee to be watery? I tell em 1/2 the ice and watch em grumble.

Good evening,

I am all caught up, I started tonight 835 posts behind at 830pm and just finished at 1231pm. Catching up on posts in between watching Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final, copying my CD's to the computer, letting the dog out..., etc...
The electricians are done, they installed 2 ceiling fans, 2 outdoor plugs, a ceiling light and a few more things. It was a gift from a family member that wants to remain anonymous within the family, of course my wife and I know who it is, but they don't want anyone else to know. It was an amazing and thoughtful gift.
I am off tomorrow, day 3 of five, just enjoying it now.

I agree There's nothing better than being together in person.

I will definitely post pics of the blow molds! The Santa one is similar to one I have, but you can never have too many And I've been buying some of the vintage Halloween blow molds over the past few months, and the one my Mom picked up was one I've been searching for! The ones I've seen have always been too faded, this one is in great condition-a little worn enough to give it charm, but not too much!

Part of the stress is closing before our current lease is up, and the other is losing our excellent financing rate that we locked in. And of course our lender is out of town. Trying to reach her, as this is time sensitive. Fingers crossed

You guys are still in our thoughts, as well. Bring on the positive vibes for the both of us =]

So grateful to have my Mom here, Harlowe is enjoying the time with her so much too-Grandma's are the best!
They hit up some garage sales yesterday, and I came home to find a vintage Santa blow mold & vintage jack-o-lantern blow mold, & a vintage plastic popcorn Jack-o-lantern that I've wanted for awhile. We had one just like it growing up =]
It's been nice knowing she's at home caring for Har, and that I have someone to chat with at night.

Our house is coming along, in a last minute dash to the finish line.
But as always, there are issues and we may or may not close in time. Looking at our options right now. It's been a stressful few days-hoping for the best!!

Wow, it's been such a busy week here at work that I feel a little left-out on MMC! I've tried to read posts, but I haven't been able to reply much. And the workload isn't likely to slow down for a little while. Still, it's better to have work than not!

Elizabeth left for church camp yesterday afternoon. She'll be back Sunday, but it's still...sad?...that she's not at home. That's it. She can never marry or move out. I hope.

Good Friday Morning MMC! Another weekend is approaching. Are you ready for it? I'm sure you are as am I. I am off on Monday so I'm looking forward to one of my classic 3 day weekends. It's beautiful out here and I slept with the windows open again. Not as chilly as yesterday just comfortably cool. Feels like September. Well, things are just great at the cottage and we are all prepared for our first renters, scheduled to arrive this Sunday. We are looking forward to a wonderful rental season, with all of our regulars returning!

Well, to save you from having to check the chart, let me just tell you it's the HALF WAY POINT TO CHRISTMAS DAY 2016!
Then, of course, the majority of BOTH of our counts will be passed.

The weather cooperated in spades at the beach and all needed work was completed expeditiously.
Today has dawned at 66 degrees with comfortably low humidity here in the capital city.

TGIF MMC!! I am so happy Friday is here! It has been a hectic week with my daughter's 8th grade graduation and her semi-formal. Today they are having a picnic at school from 10-12 so I am going to help out with that. Then tonight I am relaxing and not leaving my house.. I think I will catch up on some laundry and maybe we will grill out. Hope you all have a great day! I will check in later with you all.

I usually get some kind of mix in it like mocha or caramel. Makes it not diluted...and yeah they do put too much ice in it. I usually tell them half the amount. Depends on the person who does it though.
