More packing on the agenda, and hopefully a little relaxation too.

Good morning MMC! The concert was wonderful last night. I had a great time!

Today is going to be pretty low-key I hope. Grocery shopping, church, and house chores are on the agenda.

Hope you all have a cool and relaxing Sunday! The heat here is just ridiculous! High of 98 today after 98 yesterday. We get a break tomorrow down to 83 and then right back up to upper 90s most of the next week. It's not even summer officially for another 8 days!! Dreaming of fall!!

I don't know why but I am heavy about going into work this morning I don't know why. I had a night of weird/bad dreams so perhaps I just need for those feelings to wear off as the morning passes.

I have next weekend off though! So something to look forward too!

Good Sunday morning, my Christmas friends!

I worked in the yard and the pool Friday evening and all day yesterday, and it has finally paid off. It looks great, if I do say so myself!

And it's a good thing, too. Today is Mama's birthday AND it's the day Elizabeth comes home from church camp! We're grilling this evening at the pool for both of them, and I'm looking forward to it. Like DYHWIH said, it's hot! But it's not too bad after sun sets.

Good evening,

A busy day here, I even forgot The Belmont Stakes were today. I am so disappointed I missed it, I look forward to it every year. JP's game went well, his team won, another game tomorrow. The rain came just as his game was ending today and scratched our plans for the work we had to do in the backyard, so I spent the time listening and working on my Christmas music microSD card. I had a few new songs to add with my find at Goodwill last week and The Carpenters Christmas CD I purchased last month.
I made calzones for dinner, and followed it up with fresh strawberry shortcake, it was a very good day today.

Summer temps have taken a break here, it is really cold this morning, windy and cloudy. And of course they're predicting gorgeous weather NEXT weekend, just when I'll be working. Nothing I can do about that. It will be a morning of chores and some shopping and then nothing else planned. Hope everyone will have a nice Sunday.
