The filling will be eggs, cheese, spinach, brocoli and cream. I like trying one new recipe every week but the last one we tried was a disaster. Hope this one will be a winner. Sounds like a great breakfast. Well after 85 hours you DESERVE a week off. That's a double week you put in. I'm off Monday so at least it's a shorter work week for me.

It's that part of the weekend where it's time to turn attention to the upcoming week. It's going to be a full one but that's okay! Friday afternoon I'll be going home to my parents' for Father's Day while my husband goes to see his parents. We work such busy jobs it's the only way we can get everyone seen for Mother and Father's Day! No kids yet so we go home to celebrate. Now, to get through the first part of the week to get there!

How great that you were able to finish working on the pool just in time to enjoy a great family cook-out. Have a great time!

Summer temps have taken a break here, it is really cold this morning, windy and cloudy. And of course they're predicting gorgeous weather NEXT weekend, just when I'll be working. Nothing I can do about that. It will be a morning of chores and some shopping and then nothing else planned. Hope everyone will have a nice Sunday.

Strawberry shortcake is one of my all time favorite desserts, I don't get it often, but I just love it.

I worked in the yard and the pool Friday evening and all day yesterday, and it has finally paid off. It looks great, if I do say so myself!

And it's a good thing, too. Today is Mama's birthday AND it's the day Elizabeth comes home from church camp! We're grilling this evening at the pool for both of them, and I'm looking forward to it. Like DYHWIH said, it's hot! But it's not too bad after sun sets.
