The HALF WAY Milestone to Christmas Day 2016 is one week from today!
(Just put that on your sleigh and jingle it!)


Cooler yesterday, especially by the afternoon when we got a bit of rain.
Today is supposed to be real nice, with lower temps and humidity in conjunction with plenty of sun.
(I'm looking forward to it. Makes me almost wish I had more outside work to do!)
At this hour, we show 67 crisp, sunny degrees here in the capital city.

Good morning MMC! Rare Saturday morning check in from me! I'm at Moms, been awake since 4:30 for some reason... Mom is still snoozing! Hoping she has a better day today - she didn't feel so well yesterday.

Hubby has to work this morning - he made a deal with UPS if he worked this morning he could have Friday off - which is the day our town festival kicks off! Lucky duck!

Originally, we are supposed to close this Monday, I had taken that off and then figured we'd spend most of the day moving boxes after the official closing. And then I would've had this Friday off as well the weekend. Now that we are closing later, and still don't have a closing date, I still had wanted to take that day off, although I guess I don't have to anymore.

I was thinking about taking a day off around July 4 either a Friday or Monday just to have an extra day to organize

I may need to add one in there somewhere, I'll have to check the schedule at work to make sure it's not when my friend Jill has time off. I usually cover for her when she's gone.

Good Saturday Morning MMC! Beautiful morning here as it's comfortable this morning. It seems like every morning is pretty comfortable. I see all the heat going around the country. Hope you who are dealing with it stay cool! Keep the a/c on if you can and drink lots of water. Other than that I'm glad it's the weekend. I have a bunch of errands to do today but plan on laying in the sun a bit too.

We will be doing a little more packing and also running some errands.
I will stay close to Harlowe, as she is having a hard time in this heat.

It's going to be a beautiful day, sunny and warm with highs around 80 degrees. I'm heading out soon. I'm going to the supermarket for a big food shopping trip. I need to go to the butcher as well. Back home afterward to work on some chores around the house. I don't have too much else going on. My husband and the girls are all working for a few hours. I have to wrap Fathers Day gifts and make sure sure I have everything in order for tomorrow. We plan on taking advantage of the nice weather and grilling chicken & ribs for dinner tonight. My husbands still chipping away at the gazebo so he'll be doing that this evening as well. That's about it for me. I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Good evening everyone. I hope you all are doing well. We had a small storm this evening without any damage around our house. Just leaves everywhere. I didn't have time to check in this morning as work had a pile waiting on me when I got there. Tomorrow Michelle and I are heading to Madison, GA. I'll be antique'n and she will be boutique'n. Should be a lot fun.
