Good morning all my Christmas loving friends !
we here are in the midst of a heat wave, another day of up to 35c (95f)feeling like 40c(104f) plus lots of bad air to go with it. AC is my best friend right now !
Off to work and then a meeting so it will be after 6 before I get home again.

Happy Monday and Happy Summer! I am working the afternoon/evening shift today, so I'm doing some laundry this morning and relaxing, trying to stay cool. I'm looking up some raspberry and strawberry recipes, as the season is right around the corner. Looking forward to making jam. I'm also looking forward to a 3-day weekend coming up. Enjoy your day everyone!

Continuing the countdown, we find ourselves in a week that ends with another Milestone Day, that marker being the HALF WAY point to Christmas Day 2016.
A week of anticipation to be sure!
Days to the Season: 146
Days to Christmas Day: 188
A really fantastic day yesterday for our final day of Spring.
Low temps and humidity, lots of sun, gentle breezes and no precipitation of any kind.
(I expect a lot of fathers were pleased with it!)
This morning has commenced at 66 degrees and brings wlth it the promise of another nice day with no rain predicted until Wednesday at the earliest.
Have a Marvelous Monday, Guys.
And I hope this Milestone Week is off to a great start for you!

Good Monday Morning MMC! Happy Summer Solstice! It was a beautiful weekend here with temps in the 80s and low humidity with lots of sunshine. Can't ask for much better in the summer. Can't believe we are 2 weeks from the 4th of July! It's all coming so quickly. But it's exciting to know the 2nd half of the year will have most of our favorite things/times of the year. We started looking online for places that have the type of dog we are looking for and even threw around some possible names. It's at least a start. Yesterday was a rare "boring" day for me where I actually didn't have much to do.

Thanks for the thoughts & prayers for Mom. She seemed much better by Saturday morning. My sis stayed with her Saturday & she was fine. I talked to her yesterday & she was going to my nieces for a cook out! She may have just had an "off" day on Friday. xx She can use the prayers today though - my brother is breaking the news to her that my aunt (her youngest sister) didn't get good news from any of the 3 doctors in Cleveland about her pancreatic cancer. And we also found out this morning, one of Moms good friends was diagnosed with bone cancer & it has spread to her organs. She will be very sad today!

Originally, we are supposed to close this Monday, I had taken that off and then figured we'd spend most of the day moving boxes after the official closing. And then I would've had this Friday off as well the weekend. Now that we are closing later, and still don't have a closing date, I still had wanted to take that day off, although I guess I don't have to anymore.
I was thinking about taking a day off around July 4 either a Friday or Monday just to have an extra day to organize
I may need to add one in there somewhere, I'll have to check the schedule at work to make sure it's not when my friend Jill has time off. I usually cover for her when she's gone.
