Back on here after a great trip home! Lots of yardwork with Dad and a road trip in his 1972 Yellow Beetle! We had a great time. Now, a 3 day work week until a conference with my husband! Can't wait!!! It's going to be a great week! I hope you all are well-no time to catch up on a weekend full of posts. See you tomorrow!

I hope everyone has had a wonderful Sunday. Michelle and just got back from DQ. I got a Peanut Buster Parfait and she got Buster Bar. Earlier today I talked her into watching a Hallmark Christmas movie that I recorded last CIJ. It was a good day.

Thanks for the thoughts & prayers for Mom. She seemed much better by Saturday morning. My sis stayed with her Saturday & she was fine. I talked to her yesterday & she was going to my nieces for a cook out! She may have just had an "off" day on Friday. xx She can use the prayers today though - my brother is breaking the news to her that my aunt (her youngest sister) didn't get good news from any of the 3 doctors in Cleveland about her pancreatic cancer. And we also found out this morning, one of Moms good friends was diagnosed with bone cancer & it has spread to her organs. She will be very sad today!

I got a text right around midnight from a friend I rarely see anymore. The only thing it said was "we're halfway there" ~ I knew exactly what she meant!

we here are in the midst of a heat wave, another day of up to 35c (95f)feeling like 40c(104f) plus lots of bad air to go with it. AC is my best friend right now !

Off to work and then a meeting so it will be after 6 before I get home again.

Happy Monday and Happy Summer! I am working the afternoon/evening shift today, so I'm doing some laundry this morning and relaxing, trying to stay cool. I'm looking up some raspberry and strawberry recipes, as the season is right around the corner. Looking forward to making jam. I'm also looking forward to a 3-day weekend coming up. Enjoy your day everyone!

Continuing the countdown, we find ourselves in a week that ends with another Milestone Day, that marker being the HALF WAY point to Christmas Day 2016.
A week of anticipation to be sure!

A really fantastic day yesterday for our final day of Spring.
Low temps and humidity, lots of sun, gentle breezes and no precipitation of any kind.
(I expect a lot of fathers were pleased with it!)
This morning has commenced at 66 degrees and brings wlth it the promise of another nice day with no rain predicted until Wednesday at the earliest.

Good Monday Morning MMC! Happy Summer Solstice! It was a beautiful weekend here with temps in the 80s and low humidity with lots of sunshine. Can't ask for much better in the summer. Can't believe we are 2 weeks from the 4th of July! It's all coming so quickly. But it's exciting to know the 2nd half of the year will have most of our favorite things/times of the year. We started looking online for places that have the type of dog we are looking for and even threw around some possible names. It's at least a start. Yesterday was a rare "boring" day for me where I actually didn't have much to do.

What happened to my cool down??

Today is going to be our 6th 90 degree day this summer. In a normal year, we only have 9 of them all summer. I think we are in trouble.

Not too much going on here today, typical day of errands and chores. I'm feeling a bit under the weather, wondering if I may have been glutened last night when we went out for dinner. We ate at one of my favorite restaurants and I've never had a problem there before. I guess that's the chance I take every time I eat out. Anyway, typical here of errands and chores.
